I thought I should make a post, where assassins can list some macros they like to use, and for discussing new types of macros that can aid the class.

Here's one that Cochy told me about in guk.assassin chat, which I felt retarded for, because i had never used it.
Just set-up a macro to activate lucky break, and than to activate elude...this is a good macro because it instantly (sometimes gets screwed up if someone casts a spell and it goes off in the split second of time before elude goes off switchin the ho around) gives you a heroic oppertunity, which in a raid we should always have going, cause ringin blow=some extra dmg, plus swindler's something, which increases our pierce, slash, and range by a nice bit, and than bravo's dance (very rare) which gives us a nice dps and haste boost....and all this at the touch of a button.

I have Enmesh and Constriction in a macro, as well as Coat of Cunning with Decap and Coat of static Aura with my DoTs, so it will switch right away back to +mellee crit :P.

To be honest I have pretty much everything macro'ed except things like concealment, decap, cheap shot, malig mark. I'd rather mash 2-3 buttons for all my bleeds and backstabs than 15 of them.

To true dennis, another i also use is HO starter with enmesh...you've got to time it a little...but ya should be able to get to the point where you can have ho starter and elude refresh and use and by time ho starter gets up again enmesh will be resuable just a second or two after HO starter is and its just another way to use a quick HO.

I also have a bunch of my regular, non stealth attacks set up on 1 macro, so if i dont have any really good ones available, I hit that and get the next one in line. Those are generally setup in the order that i want to use them, except that sinister strike is at the end. That way, it tries to use SS everytime I push the button.

For the HO macro, i went a step (or 2) further. Lucky break, enmesh, constriction, scraping blow. Lucky break has no cast time, so i can get the entire HO off with 1 button. If enmesh is avsailable, it uses that, if not it uses constriction. One is always available, but I might throw in elude too. And scraping will always be available because its on the same reuse timer as lucky break.

I also have a macro for the other 2 dots, that i always push as soon as the HO macro is finished, just in case scraping blow missed.

I'm new to this forum, but surely will hang around for a while. There is some nice info to be found here.

I think one Macro you definitely do not want to miss is
Bounty + sth you use often, for example one of our DoTs

It sums up, don't underestimate the profit.

Apart from that, I find that for CAs I'd rather not use any Macros at all. I've tried a few, but I don't like to give up the flexibilty to use a single ability just the moment I want to. And...I like the Button mashing.

I'm sticking bounty with frontload these days... more to get rid of it on the hotbar than anything, really.
Macros i end up using all the time are mainly that HO one (i use lucky-constriction-scraping) and the masked-puncture one.
Tried to create a macro to hide that dumb pet too, but it never worked /shrug.

I think i was using something along the lines of cheap shot/getaway/decap for soloing too. not so sure anymore, specced out of getaway a while ago.

I dont see a point in many of them.
I mean, Like Chessie, enjoy having the flexibility to click whatever I feel that needs to be clicked. :D
I dont macro Masked Attack And Puncture Blade because sometimes I use Masked attack with some of my other CA's, (Like Cloaked Assualt, eviserate, etc), only sometimes though, if concealment isn't up or Surveilance.
