Its would be correct if you were to add haste too. . . another word to look up is "ratio"

I know this line of questioning is teetering on the edge of people getting pissy, but the model that Pinski just demonstrated seems correct only if zero or very little haste is applied. Once the faster weapon is swinging as fast as is possible, the slower weapons continue to gain the benefits of additional haste.
There is no minimium delay. The people who say there is are very ignorant and have never tested it and are just believing one of those mis-truths that have spread through this game like a wildfire.

There's 3 reasons for slower weapons:

1) You miss less swings due to not being in CA casting/recovery when auto-attack can fire as much

2) As a result of #1, you get more procs as well

3) Many slow weapons have a favorable max dmg which is good for crit-geared characters.

Casting and stealth. . . no recovery. Also why Repeated Stabbing is so overrated.

You get more of everything as a result of #1

3) Many slow weapons have a favorable max dmg which is good for crit-geared characters.
Irrelevant.
Will this ever end?

I'm still learning the quirks and ways to maximize the Assassin class (just got the lvl 70) but what exactly does Repeated STabbing provide (the mention of it being overrated has me interested).

I've been told that it is mostly for people with shitty weapons - I know what the description says but in practical terms?

It does exactly what it says, it cuts .25sec from recovery (the time you have to wait before you can cast again) and lets you chain cast faster. Basically, you spike damage easier with more down time for debuffs and other stuff. Yes its good, but its not all that people make it out to be around here. You still gotta wait the same to cast again and it doesnt do anything for your auto attack.

It's the best EOF AA by far in my view. Those people saying it's overrated are obviously confused.

Yeah, it's not the best thing since sliced bread or anything. Just I can't think of any AA choice in EOF which is even nearly as good. Exacting and hemo probably being the closest. If it were an end ability in the KOS lines, you probably wouldn't go down the line for it instead of, say, INT.
