I don't know why peeps using hemo take front load over getaway

having an insta stealth every 45 sec is very useful. Get that killing blade or decap or cloaked Assault in when it pops without having to caste surveillance, and keep that masked and PB combo going.

or use Surveil for CA and getaway for killing blade ect.

I cant be the only one where an AE intrupts a concealment chain?

what do you do then without getaway? just get one of the 7 stealth attacks off? more stealth more stealth attacks you can get off

oh and The AE immunity can help too.

as far as I can tell your not getting jack with bleed or front load.

soooo what youre stating is we can achieve instantaneous swinging with enough haste mods????? i seriously doubt that

agreed stinkfinger i spec'd out of bleeding recently very happy about that

an extra insta cast anti AE and on termination 50% runspeed is excellent

basically imo the only good thing about the poison line is hemotoxin and i can reach that by going physicality, i admit frontload sounds interesting but doesnt sound as appealing as tricks and phys.

not really sure how it goes to you assassins this longer delay
stuff... btu for swashies to parse high its vital to have atleast 2.5s delay wp...
benefits
-Crits are higher... and dmg range should be preferable 1:6
-u can time ur CA's alotta better between melee attacks
-if u get bard double attack / illu arm the double attack effect is more higher.
-does not have anything do w procs since their limited, only thing which affects em are AA abilities like templar blessing/LoD etc...
-and since most of u assassins are DW's... u should go for same delay on wp's..

well i bet u guyz knew this all already.. but meh :D

Does it really matter if weapons have the same delay? I mean, i want as high a delay as i can on both of them, but I don't really see a problem with, say, a 1.6 sec delay on the offhand if the main hand is 4 sec. Are you saying 2 2.5 sec weapons would give better results?

it does matter.. if u've 4sec delayer in both hands
it has great effect on ur dps..
u lose less autoattacks and can fit ur ca's better between melees..

I don't think you actually answered my question. What I'm getting at is .... is there any magic to having them both be the same delay. Whether they are 4 sec, 3 sec, or 1.6 sec, is there some bonus I am unaware of when they are equal? I know I want high delay weapons but i do not have 2 4sec weapons so that is out of the question.

no because haste mods are capped at 125% real haste (200 haste mod). The weapon would have to have almost no delay initially. The basic trend in this game is "the longer the delay the higher the max dmg" and the opposite is true. So something with a very low initial delay would also have a very low max dmg, so it still wouldnt be worth it to just autoattack because the majority of DPS would still come from CAs and youd lose a large percentage of autoattack swings to casting the CAs.

If there was no mod cap than you could theoretically get instantaneous swinging. It wouldnt be truly instant, but so close as to be imperceptible.

Alrighty my 2 cents...which is worth about .1 :

My best parse is 2.2k in MMiS with named..other than Mayong we haden't beatin him at that time.

In a good raid setup you should get the dps/haste buffs needed. I feel that two things are important: STR and hard hittin weapons (which means longer delay).

str: hit harder

Hard hittin weapons: Even with a long delay im almost certain they will hit as oftain as short delay only harder...why? Very rarely do I not have a CA up that i wanna use, so i most likely only get one swing off in between em.

Currently I got Vyemm's Fang and Absolution, both weak hitting but fast. Another assassin in my guild has slower delay and straight up beats me everytime, with same setup.

BTW this is my simple impression, not the brightest assassin.
