What kinda arrows do you guys use? I carry some of all of them in my quiver, but I don't think thats really necessary. There aren't anymore mobs that are resistant to a particular type of damage, are there?

Anyway, I was wondering if our piercing skill comes into play when we use the piercing arrows. Or is the hit bonus from the crushing arrows too good to pass up? And, of course, if memory serves, the slashing arrows have the highest damage modifier, thats gotta count for something too.

BTW, I am talking about the regular crafted arrows. I don't have an option to summon any.

Ranged uses "ranged" skill to hit, modified by your ammo. The pierce/crush/slash is the damage type and amount when modified.

If you do EH the crafted tender arrows are pretty nice but a lot of guilds are using seeds for only poison now.

I dunno what people use for normal crafted since I've had summoned arrows for a long time.

I use the free ammo off of the Bazkul bow from Tyrinax.

As far as strictly crafted ammo goes I tended to use the ammo with the highest tohit% bonus I could find. I hate missing.

I use field point (crushing) for the hit bonus, a miss in my ranged cycle really messes with my DPS.
