What is condemning blade? Is that a low level name for one of our combat arts. Personally, I try to make sure to use decap early in the concealment chain just in case the 40% hate reduction wears off before the last hit lands. I'd rather be getting the full hate hit from puncture blade or cloaked assault (the last 2 in my chain).

Yeah I can't forget Condeming since when I first started playing again with my guildies that was the CA that made the mob's Health disappear and they would always say, "that was Condeming, wasn't it?".

Yeah never really thought of that with the Hate reduction off Decap. I've been using it the other way around mainly because I try to get to Concealment as soon as possible. I guess starting off with Decap, I was alittle worried of pulling aggro and wasting Concealment altogether. Plus with some nasty frontal Epic attacks I use alittle caution on Decap so early. But that definitely makes sense, I will try that out next raid.

My setup now on decap is:

Crippling Strike
Concealment
Freezing Strike
Jugular
Eviscerate
Killing Blade
Decap
Slaughtersaut

I can almost always get all CA's off especially with the change I made in using Freezing Strike instead of Crippling to trigger Concealment. Also added slaughtersaut from a recommendation from another user here, thanx now I have a use for that thing.

70 is the first level cap I ever hit. I guess condemming used to the THE big momma jamma hit in the game originally, eh?

I personally don't use slaughterassault unless there are still multiple mobs up and cloaked isn't available. I'd replace slaughter with cloaked unless you are already using it a lot otherwise. Also, I like to use evocerate earlier in the chain because its the only one of the lot thats positional. So, if you or someone else draws aggro, theres less chance of you missing that one.

Yeah Cloaked is the first CA I use once the fight starts cause it goes awesome with Intoxication. After that it's a race to Concealment with Debuffs. So by the time I get to Concealment, Cloaked has yet to reset. I agree Slaughter is not all that great and I still try to stay away from it when it can't be used to its max potential. However if there is time I will use it especially now that my auto-attack damage (don't have any of the uber weapons yet) is not much greater than this CA. Gotten a few pieces of Fabled gear but still no weapons.

Indeed, back then, it was the highest damaging CA for an Assassin, up to around 3.7k on a fully debuffed mob and high strength. This was also when the "Highest Melee" hit board was actually something to look at, all Condemning Blade hits on there as Assassinate was magic damage! (1 hour timer also)

Hmm my Concealment chain usually looks like this (If no timers):

Concealment
Crippling Strike
Masked Attack
Puncture Blade
Eviscerate
Jugular
Killing Blade
Decapitate
Cloaked Assault.
