I myself have specced STR/WIS/INT (minus Intox) and even though its broken, its still a nice ability to have....once its fixed? It will be even better.

I haven't really put much thought into my EoF tree...since I haven't maxed my points yet (I've been slacking, but I gotta pick it up, we start raiding this week).
Pre-RoK I was specced in repeated stabbing, with points thrown into hemotoxin and all my self buffs (minus defensive stance), which I liked a lot. I think however, I'm going to go for bleeding/repeated stabbing and possibly frontload, though when I was specced frontload I didn't care for it much (I think I had issues with timing...I'm still a newb to the whole assassin thing). The other thing I didn't like about frontload was that I had to put points into something I didn't use (I don't run ignorant bliss...I haven't ever needed to).

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, and correct me if I am

I still play a damn good assassin for what I've got.

thats the way it was made, and wis line has no benefit if your not getting agro,

(((other then the exploit, I am guessing will be fixed))

Sta gives much needed aoe dps to the assassin class. Also a third aoe is also very nice, especially it doesnt require stealth. More Hp is also a good thing, consider there will be some massive aoe from what I gathered.

As for 8% on 30000 is still 2400. That's less than 1 proc on a hurricane on multimob. At 28% you are going to get more dps with hurricane with even 2 mobs.

Consider the 2 zones I have been in Thuggur and protector relam both have multi-mobs.

I am amazed how few dont understand this yet, perhaps they will in time

HaHa, yeah i suck balls. I was thinking pretty much the same thing "There is no way he does 5x my DPS". The parse I looked at was one in FTH where i was on coffin duty for the final fight, and we had a lot of wipes. I meant to find a better parse to look at before i responded ... as soon as i finished those damn quests. But they never end. Anyway, 1200 was a normal ZW for me pre-rok, so thats 2-3% from intox. Its still pretty high on my list. 4th or 5th.

I think the important number is 30 extdps ZW. Thats not bad no matter how big a slice of your pie it is. You said you picked up 20 dps with just one ranged CA with the agi build, can you tell how much you've picked up with the other ones and with the bow auto-attacks?

Theres not enough multi target to justify STA as #1

If your casting faster, you will cast more. Take a minute to think about it.

If your rolling with shaman and a swash the effect of the debuff is fairly minimal. Plus offensive skill debuffs don't have the same impact as defensive debuffs. Keeping intox would be purely preference.

Yeah i got to attest to the fact that intox for dps perspective is not as great as poise, specially in fights lasting less than 1 min....

Even though it doesnt directly add to Damage, it does help you stay low of the hatelist to do your thing with less concern of pulling aggro. I am always running 3 poisons (Hemo, Bliss, and Grace). I think it's better to use it than not to.

Comparing 2 parses, they all seems the share a similar increase. So far I only took one parse with and without to compare. Not much raiding going on with RoK just being released and I am not in a hardcore guild. Anyways ZW DPS aside, the real difference was in crits.

Neck Shot: 3-38 without (20 ZW), 12-41 with (39 ZW)
Spitting Asp: 4-36 without (14 ZW), 9-35 with (26 ZW)
Assailing: 12-100 without (10 ZW), 27-82 with (18 ZW)

Thats only 1 comparison though and was a different group setup, so might be off abit from a bare strip. As far as what it did for auto-, I couldn't tell. Poise definitely benefits our ranged attacks having the slower end of the casting time. So Poise is awesome for Ranged CA's but not exclusively.

AGI is my fav now, at least until they fix Obfuscation/Concealment and then it could get interesting.

I've been trying sta for a week, and I was just about to switch to agi cause I was pretty unimpressed with it, when I realized the double attack thing was a buff I needed to cast. I'm such an id10t.

i think for the KoS AGI is the way to go in raids i kinda get the long stick with no dirge in the group and with out the agi line and RP i was doing abot 1800ish and with it ,at 80 now i am doing about 2800 to 3100 - with a dirge AGI FTW
