Which bows?

Just curious what yall look for in a bow. For a long time, to me, a bow was just a place holder for more stats. Since RoK I find myself using it all the time.

Now, I kinda look for the same thing I look for in my DW weapons, highest max damage possible so when it crits, it hits hard. As long as I have the agi line, thats probably a good theory. But just the same, those 9 second delays seem pretty excessive, especially when i am at range for any longer than it takes to cast the 3 CAs.

I still don't have a RSB, so my choices are stonebow of charsis, the bow off of sarik (I forget the name, wind something?), skelroth poison dart launcher, and selnok legionaires bow.

Anyone find one better than RSB yet?

star darkened longbow does pretty much pwn. you crit even more with it since it has some "next ranged attack will be critical"-proc on it

RSB is the best out there atm with Deathtoll Ammo and even with the 67 "Tier 8 /scoff" ammo.

Followed Closely by Tunare's Wrath, and then Star Darkened.

Let's not start another arrow mechanics thread, just trust me.

Yeah with agi line there is no bow better than RSB...period

Arrow mechanics are fucked atm, so T8 bow are penalized in comparison to T7. RSB will reign supreme until this is fixed.

Hm got both, used to prefer Rigid Scale Bow, now use Star Darkened Longbow. Why? Umh no idea, I kinda like it. You say RSB is better with Poise? mmmh....

Not cause of poise.... cause once u got 25% ranged crit it overtakes SDL in damage.. the more crit you have the bigger the gap becomes... if you are wis speced then SDL>RSB...

I would say Tunare's Wrath, Rigid Scale, then Star Darkened if you have 25% ~ Ranged Crit chance and a Dirge in your group.
