So in the past everyone wore one of these, but now they have some nice plus 2 melee crit rings that are easy to come by, so

what is better the master Crafted STR/AGI rings or plus 2 melee crits?

I wont wear the str ring, my dps self buffed is high enough to the point where I cant justify wearing one. The agi one I remove if im grouped with illusionist, or for trash clearing. On longer encounters and named fights, most the time I will wear it.

It really depends on my group setup, if I have an Illusionist I will use my +2 crit ring and if I don't I will use my haste ring.
