Someone said I should go with the Tymonium Band of STR for the STR and DPS proc over my ring with +2 melee crit and +25 CA damage...I haven't made the switch yet since I tend to prefer melee crit, but what do you all think? I'm about 41% melee crit ATM w/ it and depending on my raid group it can approach 46-48% crit at times.

+2 MC > +2 DA. The Band of STR is good in groups, but the AGI is better for raids. However +2 MC and +20 CA damage is way better that the STR ring in groups. So drop the STR ring and just carry a AGI one when you need the haste.
Groups: Reet Eye Ring, Nax's Ring of Precision
Raids: Same as above or Reet Eye Ring, Imbued Agility Ring
I still think the Ring of the Four Winds is still good, what do you guys think???

I use the Ring of Four Winds also, 5% Reuse > 2% Crit personally.

Re: Crits vs. Double Attack Part 2
I was wondering about the 4 winds ring myself...haven't run the quest yet on my Assassin, but was thinking about it for the reuse timers...
...Other than speeding up Execute by what - half a min, it doesn't seem like it would really make the rest pop much faster than a few seconds (versus the benefit of melee crit across all attacks).

Poise + Repeated Stabbing, makes ring of four winds even more valuable. It all adds up.

Looks like even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. Bands of strength is great... for classes that do not have 90+ DPS mod from CAs and adornments. For assassin, they suck. Not only are the returns on it really bad in terms of changes in /weap, but autoattack is not really an assassin's bread and butter.
If you want to go with an MC ring, the one to go with is agi. You won't run into horrible returns on it unless you have monk + illy, etc., and you'll proc your poisons more (which is good if you're running caustic).
The rings to go with are nax & reet eye though. There are better rings out there, but I'm not aware of anything that is as easily acquired. If you have thuuga, use it in place of nax. + CA dmg is great for assassin.

Yep. We agreed. This time, he's right.
Might be some confusion here, but when I was saying "you" in that post, I was meaning to address the original poster.

I'm not sure why you even bother posting here. Everything you post on these boards is laughed at.
