Since we are multiple years into the game being out and AGI still being a near useless stat any chance the Predator self buffs can be changed from AGI to STR.

It's sad to have almost no interest in upgrading my self-buff unless I get lucky and it drops for me. Wasting 30+ plat for a minute 4 haste improvement and a chunk of useless AGI isn't worth it. Guessing that the assassin upgrade is just as weak in it's DPS upgrade. Give me the haste and an increase in 30-40 STR instead of AGI and then it gets worthwhile.

And yes, I posted this in the assassin section so it'd be more likely you know who would see it. Plus it'd be a positive change for assassins along with rangers. Why it's titled - Predator - self buffs.

Oh and you can blame the nubs on Blackburrow wanting 50p for the self buff also. Seeing it sit there everytime I do a master search is just a constant remindered how dumb it is our self-buff's bump up AGI and not STR.

I'd rather have a haste buff, but the DPS buff isn't useless to me yet, as I'm usually no better than 150ish dps in the middle of fights. But yeah, I don't really see a use for agi. I keep thinking there is something that I'm missing there. But on a raid, all it does is give a bigger power pool, right? If we can't get str, how about int?

Have you tried sending them a tell and offering 5p (or whatever you think its worth) for the master? Even if they say no, maybe it'll clue them in that the thing ain't as valuable as they think it is and they'll start lowering the price.

And yeah, we know why you posted here. You're only allowed to whine on ranger boards, right? This was way to reasonable to pass muster there.

Rangers should have STR and Haste. The attack speed is needed for the 9s bows and they can buff their own DPS with Focus Aim.

The Assassin self buff should be STR and DPS. I don't seem to need that much haste since betraying and STR seems more important

Rogue = DPS+Debuffs
Predator = DPS (assassins do have some utility in hate transfer)

Give us a melee version of focus aim, and I might consider letting you get STR.

Lol self hate reduction does not qualify as utility, as it only benefits the ranger and lets him do dps without fucking constantly dying. Utility, by definition, is something that directly benefits other people in the raid. Also, fyi, ranger hate reduction is actually inferior to that of swashbucklers and assassins. Before someone says, "omg the % for rangers is higher," the %'s are not directly comparable. Swashbucklers and assassins transfer a % of total hate, while rangers reduce their hate gain (meaning the rate at which hate is gained). For any rate reduction or speed increase, 100%=half rate or double speed (i.e. 100% hate reduction=half hate). Thus, for any hate gain reduction amount, you have to chop the displayed number in half to determine the actual amount of hate eliminated. The devs had the relative values for rangers and assassins initially right in EoF (54% reduction vs. 27% transfer at M1, iirc), but some dumbass dev probably ignorantly said, "omg the ranger buff is overpowered," and so he nerfed the ranger reduction value to be less than double the assassin transfer value.

Focus aim is just dps, which assassins by no means need any more of atm. If we're going to argue for balance line-by-line, I could sit here and bitch for rangers to get a lot of the other specific things assassins get that rangers don't, but such arguments would clearly be absurd. Also, we're arguing for agi to be changed to str on both predator classes' self buffs.
