Good Question and I personally can't really say which is better. I want to say the Gi but the Carapace is really nice as well.

Id wear the Gi hands down, the laviathin chest proc is good, as long as you are out of combat before the burnpout hits you, but it only procs when something hits you, and since most things tend to devour the face of anything non plate......you get the idea

Yeah, the Gi is better. I read the description on the other bp wrong. Didn't realize until now that the proc goes off when I get hit. duh.

Nice for soloing thou. And the negative effect you see on that proc can be canceled from your maintained spells window. lol

It's been said, but to give more reinforcement, wear the Gi for raiding or if you are DPSing in group.

The Chain BP is nice, but since it procs off of weapon damage it looks like (can't see the whole descrp.), I'd imagine you won't get much use out of it at only a 5% chance (or 10% w. Frontload) outside of a Solo or light group setting.

if you look the burnout is not so bad.
on overall that make a nice increase.
24 sec with 50% haste and 300 CA dmg
24 sec with 10% slow and neg 100 CA dmg

that make an average time of 40% haste 200 CA dmg.

Tho the JI have tons of hps on it.

now is 4% melee crit better than 2% +40% haste +200 CA dmg ?
