I do them when I try to avoid learning lots of stuff for uni, so since it's exam time atm, you see my avatars and sigs changing on a regular basis

i dont see difference between 7K+ avoidance+shield or offstance... seems high heroics doesnt care bout dodging ninjas.

Since I got my last Achievement Point yesterday, I now think about getting Getaway to joust timeable big AoEs. I didn't need it yet, but I think it can be quite handy? Or do you guys think excessive bleeding is still better? I mean I'd rather use Getaway and have another stealth than switching to defense stance and still being one-shotted.

I suppose with the AA bonus they could be semi-viable for PvP, but even on Nagafen it's pretty much useless because that extra mit really isn't going to save you from a group of people wailing on you~

'sides, it's much better to just burn the fuck out of people anyways

I only used it when soloing in RoK, but not being able to hit things as well can be counterproductive so I respec'd and removed my Defensive Points (since i had wasted them on the AA I figured I should use the Skill)

Hi Ardain..

The last time I used any Defensive Stance was...... to train the heroics outside of Veeshan's Peak...... that's it.
Really really (:P.) useless unless you have the 5 AA's into it, well it's still kinda useless anyway.

Unless you time your own AEs, and are extremely confident about their accuracy, using getaway as an ae avoid will hurt your dps more than help. The only thing I ever really used it for was the run speed bonus when you break it.

I used to when soloing tougher mobs but it has been off my hotbar for a couple of months now. I even sent a tell to a guy selling the T8 master version who wanted 50 plat for it. It's worthless.

Tried Getaway as an AoE avoid and it didn't have the outcome I thought it would. Just run ACT and put in our own timers. Much easier and better results.

i still solo and for soloing the previous tier master is best.....def Stance + swindlers= u wont miss mobs...while you will parry the hell out of em
