Concealment - Page 4

My question is, since I'm specced STR/AGI/INT and I know how to play and shit....how are you guys getting 20k FFU's? because I think my highest is aroung 15/16k.
I run through my CA's with concealment in this order:
Concealment
Masked Strike
Pinpoint Blade
Stealth Assault
Moon Blade
Killing Blade
Jugular Slice
Execute
Slate
(I generally hit Baffle here just to be safe)
Fatal Followup

and my hits arent getting as high as some of you all. Self buffed I'm sitting at (yes this is funny) 666 STR, and I run Tactics pots throughout our raids.
....wtf am I doing wrong?

Use ACT, wait for dispatch to hit before you do your concealment chain and get it to crit. /shrug

What Gaige said, Dispatch. I always have Squeeze, Disfiguring, and Master Strike on the mob as well. Got a self-buffed 730 STR and over 300 CA damage. It's around 20k (give or take alittle) on crits.

I always wait for Dispatch. Maybe my issue that my stats are a little lower since I'm not fully geared yet. Like I said, 666 self buffed str, I'm at 305 CA dmg mod though -shrug-

Also try starting it with disfiguring. I think my highest is 19k so far, but I haven't looked through all the parses yet.

Disfiguring's effect lasts for over a minute, so doesn't matter when you hit as long as it is up.

Yeah but, unless I'm mistaken, if disfiguring is available, that means it's effect isn't active. Unless you have some sort of reuse reduction, or duration increase stuff going on. I looked at some parse breakdowns, and FFU is averaging 11.5k for me. Thats about 200 pts less than mortal blade averages but I use it twice as often. Kick ass fuckin CA. Thanks to whoever thunk it up.

Yeah I was trying some things out last night in PR and I was seeing some 20k+ FFU's so maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention, and only seeing the crappy ones.
I always make sure disfiguring is up...its not hard to pay attention.

To estimate the damage of Fatal Followup with all stealths used and to see if you're doing fine, just follow this roughly:

Damage of FF * 8 * 1.3 * 1.3

That's pretty much what I do as well. If exacting is up I might try and get a second masked attack/pinpoint blade in before FFu. So
far the highest FFu I've seen myself do was 25.6k and that's without poise or obfuscation.

BTW, u poise guys enjoying faster casting deadly blast on ranged frontal encounters? ;P
