On the long run it could equal 1 or 2 crits, i sorta doubt it though. . . and definitely not worth it on trash that dies in 30sec where you wanna get as many of those hits crit. Having a troub or alacrity doesnt help the matters either.

But thats just common sense, i havent done the math on it so take it as you will.

Edit: Cutting a few sec off of the temp buffs is the only strong point i can see to it. But thats still very situational and dependent on other things like raid dps and rate of pull.

Also, is it just me or do the CAs refresh tint effect in the hot bars doesnt take into account recast buffs? I am always clicking stuff a few sec before it refreshes to compensate.

It's very much worth it. Unless you have an amazing T8 ring, RoFW is much better for your ZW. Especially if your Poise specced.

It should, just look at Perfectionist. Theres been some bugs where it wouldn't untint at all, but if it's just a few seconds or less it's most likely lag.

Dont just state things as fact, whats the logic behind that?

I must be missing something cause i pretty much always have CAs to cast which means that its usefulness is pretty much limited to the temp buffs, conceal chain and an extra PB or scarring blow here and there. When you add downtime, trash that dies before i am through casting my CAs half the time and its starting to look pretty damn useless to me.

Btw, thast with no crit robe, if i had the crit robe i wouldt care so much about 2 crits and probably use it.

Who gives a shit what your using when your fighting trash?? Thanks for the surprising fact that the Ro4W sucks when fighting trash. Ok yeah your right I will throw on Nax's for trash but on fights that last more than a blink of on eye. The Ro4W is very useful.

Trash in kor sha seems to have a shitload of hp. I was getting off 2 concealement chains on a lot of it. If I'd had this ring, I might have gotten off 2 chains on all the trash fights and a maybe even an extra one on the named fights.

The question is, "Can you keep all your CAs down without the ring?" followed by "Can you keep all your CAs down with the ring?" With Poise and Repeated Stabbing, the answer to both questions should be "Yes."

The math is simple as well. If the answer is "Yes." to both questions, then the Ring of the Four Winds is increasing your DPS by the [actual] percentage it modifies your skills by multiplied by the percentage of your damage that is Combat Arts. It's not exactly 5%, since its not 5% on skills modified by perfectionist, and also skills modified by other achievements have slightly different amounts from the Ring of the Four Winds. However, its close enough to 5% to be able to safely use that as an approximation if you can keep all your [Damage] CAs down. Again, with Poise and Stabbing, you should be able to easily keep your CAs down and your CAs should be about 40% of your DPS if you are in a group with a good amount of double attack buffs (bard/illusionist). 2% more DPS (if you keep your CAs down and they are 40% of your DPS) is more than 2% crit.

EDIT: Don't forget that it speeds up the reuse of your temp buffs.
