The fact that trash is more than 50% of a zone means that trash affects your DPS more so than nameds.

Joke's on you, I got in my edit before your post!

Edit: what I was getting at is that if you fuck up on named, your ZW will suffer. Regardless of your 6k trash spikes.

That makes sence on paper, its flawed though. Just because something refreshes .5 to a few sec earlier does not directly translate into dps. Would be 1/4 to 1/2 of what your getting in reality (if that), and thats still not counting down time.

Like for example even if your conceal chain refreshes earlier. . . your still gonna cast your dots first, arn't you?

I think ill give it a try to help with sustained damage a bit because these days ive been spiking for some insane numbers that the tank cant hold anyway.

Just thinking out loud a bit more. . .

No gains on the first set of CAs till the 20-30sec mark when things start to refresh, so with the 2% you are getting and an average encounter lenght of 1min it would be half of that or 1%, and thats still rough numbers not taking into account the fact that it doesnt translate into direct dps, a fraction of that in reality when you consider all the other cons.

So yea, basically just a fwe sec off of the temp buffs (good) and a tiny boost from CA refresh.

Curious, is it a true 5% reduction, or does it use SOEs special math the way perfectionist does? A true 5% would knock off 3 seconds for every minute of refresh. If its coded like perfectionist, it'd be like 2 seconds off per minute.

It's calculated as 60 / 1.05 = 57.1 so..... not perfect.
