I know this borders on needing to be in the Noob section, but here goes...

I am not a math wiz and I do appreciate all of the comments that break down things so I can become a better Assassin, even with my math limitations.

Would the Ring Of The Four Winds, with a 5% reduction in CA reuse times be better than rings such as Thuga and the AGI Mastercafted in longer fights, and if so at what length of fight would it become better?

without the math portion of your request, I would use it over Agi mastercrafted but not Thuuga.

With 60% of our dps coming from CA's I would take a reuse inc over the autoattack boost from haste. The crits and +CA damage are just hot though.

Actually I think this is a very good question. Comparing it to the rings you listed is not since Thuuga is way better and AGI Mastercrafted is not. If you compare it to say Nax's, I think the Ro4W is about even or at least very close. Personally, I like having my CA's come back alittle bit faster.

Yeah, my rings are nax's ring and Reet eye. I'm trying to decide if its worth running those quests. I'm assuming they'd all be grey to me now and soloable.

I'm not sure I agree with them that the MC haste ring is such garbage. I don't normally get any haste buffs (just 27 or 28 from gear), and in those situations, I think that ring is pretty even with nax's.

From a personal standpoint at least, it is for me. I'm going with a +CA spec over melee crits (provided the items have the right tradeoff) so the faster I can get off my CA's the better.

Plus, if I can get an Ill & troub in my group, I see less of a return from the AGI ring.

I'm actually using Thuuga & the TTR ring, but in the context of the question, thats the route I would take.

3-5k per fight with just reet and nax ring of precision, crits ftw. +CA damage and tons of crit, I have an unbuffed standing crit of 42%, with god pet and gear 756 str 276 int, if I get in a raid setting zomg. Forget it. I keep the ro4w as a backup in case someday it becomes usefull again.

Never said the MC ring was garbage for the record. A second off melee swings verse the decrease in recast times of all CA's by 5%. Tough Call but I like Ro4W's better. Although I would say all the rings listed (Nax, MC, Ro4W) are pretty even IMHO. Until definitive evidence one is better, I say it's personal preference.
