Why wouldn't a MT healer melee?? As long as there isn't a damage shield and they joust. There is no reason for a healer not to melee unless they are not comfortable with it. Those things they carry in the hands aren't just for looks. When I play my Healer, I always melee.

A healer jousting would be fucking stupid. As far as i know, no healers can heal on the run. Hell, I think only mystics can even cast damage spells on the run.

My thought isn't so much that we get to choose, but rather it applies whatever poison we have on. I mean, it makes more sense. Like aph said, why does poison have to mean hemotoxin? Yeah, if they made this change, it would make assassins a much needed class again. Raids might actually even want 2 of us. The best part of it would be listening to the rangers whine afterwards.

A healer jousting is not fucking stupid unless your healer sucks. It takes a second to joust and 1 sec when your not healing. Well, if that wipes your raid then your raid sucks. Personally on my Defiler, I can parse well over 1k on fights and still top the healing parse.

And with due reason as well since giving the poisons we use to classes that can't use poisons would make the ability extremely overpowered.

Tanks that can mana / life tap or do superb dps with Poisoned Seeds. The idea of giving the recipient of the buff the poison we currently use is dumb, imo. Again, we are a pure dps class, we shouldn't give a crap about utility.

Yeah it kinda reminds me of how much i hated this CA when DoF came out... assassins are solitary assailants ...

Now if we could self buff with it for 1+ poison FTW =)

It does not have to be as good as the poisons we have on. The hemotoxin it applies now only seems to change according to our int. I just want something other than a hemo.

I'd like to know what healer doesn't joust on certain fights unless they have an AE Avoid.

If you want utility roll a swash or an illusionist...seriously, why the fuck would you care about utility as an assassin? We give a buff that is 10% of the recipient's zw dps, as it is it's sickening already.

Let me say it again, utility is not what assassins are for.

Certain fights? OK, who gets to pick the certain fights? There is always exceptions, but its a hell of a lot better when the healers don't have to move. Thats why you tank shit that has knockbacks against a wall. All the casters get pissy when they have to constantly reposition.

Why would anyone ever want the non hemotoxin version considering it's already better than expert's hemotoxin?

This buff is already way overpowered as it is.
