Use the Trooper scale boots. (The 10 dblatk (?) ones)

I'd use the trooper scales, provided your double attack doesn't get up to 100%. The more haste you have the more that proc will go off, but at 0 haste, I'd say its almost a toss up with the slight edge to the proc.

The treasured boots (quest reward) with +1 to melee crits and +50 to CA damage > trooper scale boots.

DA as a permanent modifier is fine...ie: Treasure Seeker's band + Carotidcutter (scenario assuming you don't own two badass DWs) but a proc is unreliable for something like DA. Remember that of our total zw dps, auto attack is less than 30%, I wouldn't prioritize a proc for DA over melee crits and / or CA dmg.

i am pretty much have the same problem. Got Trooper Boots a few days ago and try them out atm. I use Betrayal's Song and Carotidcutter @ 23hast atm. Sure the 10 extra Str at the Trooper boots (compared to the Daredevil) are not bad, but iam not sure - think ill have to test it out.

I have the Daredevil and have been trying to find the Trooper Scales while I wait for that Spider to drop her +4 melee crit boots.

I may not try so hard for the Tropper Scale if you all think it's not even an upgrade of these Treasured Daredevil boots that I have currently.

i have both boots Daredevil one and the Super Trooper Boots. and im wearing the STB only when im group with a dirge and temp to get the proc over 2.2/min.

Anyone test how often they proc in raids without Dirge/Temp buffs? I'm wondering if Frontload helps at all and how much.

near 2/3 of the time for my brigand without any proc increasers. Doubt it's any different for assasins ^^
