20 platinum (15 platinum on one step and 5 platinum on another)
If you do not have the Investigate skill: This is granted either by the second quest in the SoD line, or by buying it in Teren's Grasp. If you decide to buy it, the place to do so is from Juulika McDarid in Teren's Grasp- cost is 8.75plat at max faction.
Quest starter:
At -1702, 25, -774 in Nektulos Forest, inspect a dead body (Rylana) in the bear cave.
Quest:
The first step is to inspect the bracelet placed in your inventory. Upon inspecting, it tells you to search out the NPC who may recognize this bracelet.The NPC you need to speak to is Deacon Danerous, at -64, -21, 134 in East Freeport.
Deacon Danerous sends you to get 10 sathiran poisons. You need the recipe(A tattered scrap of paper) from Sebilis, which is a fairly common drop off any NPC in zone, including the solo frogs at entrance. (NOTE: You can farm the bladders before getting recipe. You can also buy the recipe off the broker.)
To use the recipe, you need:
10 Di'Zok Gall Bladders from Chardok, off of any Sarnak in zone, including the solo mobs at entrance.
30 Mineral Salt Loams
20 Rough Kunzites
10 Deklium Clusters
50 Smoldering Candles.
Upon gathering the ingredients, you need to travel to the Sathirian Alchemist's Table in Sebilis- This is at the bottom of Sebilis, just left of the door into Venril Sathir's Lair. It's an easy level 9 combine, but takes a long time to complete. Failure *is* possible and *does* consume the bladder.
After combining the 10 poisons, return to Deacon Danerous in East Freeport. The next step of the quest is to purchase three items from various faction merchants in RoK to turn in to her.
Upon purchasing these items, return to Deacon Danerous in East Freeport. She will send you to North Qeynos to kill a freeport traitor in exile:
In North Qeynos, just to the SE of the Claymore, there is a General store marked on the map. Inside, right behind the baker, is an instance. (287, -16, 34, Baker Vuleen's store room) The mob inside is an 80^ - Execute will one-shot him, however.
Return to Deacon Danerous. At this point, she will send you to speak with Preceptor Nyjuss in North Freeport at the inn. (At -74, -21, -67)
Preceptor Nyjuss will give you Freeport Emissary Robe and Mark of the Emissary and then send you to kill four NPC's. You *have* to be wearing the robe given at start of this step in order to get updates.Several of these are buggy. Get the killshot if at all possible. Fight where they spawn.
Rid Jestands - 115, -22, 320 in Lesser Faydark at the Nybright camp. Is a 60^^^, as soon as you aggro, turns into an 85^^^ heroic. Hits VERY hard. Bring a solid group.
Ekner Darkblade - In stealth mode, bring butterfly totems. Spawns in the Festering Hag's room in Unrest. Will be stealthed in between stairs and wall. 85^^^. (Cleared instance works, if Ekner wasn't killed)
Once you've killed these four mobs, return to Preceptor Nyjuss. You will be sent to Neriak to kill a prominent member of the Ebon Mask.
Head to Neriak. The Ebon Mask stronghold is near the far right side of the map. The mob you are looking for is Rhylinil K'Helviurden on the first floor of the tower.
When you hail him, a short dialogue will appear - After dialogue he becomes an 85^^^ mob. Shortly into this fight, Vykko T'Lach will also turn aggro and attack you. He is an 85^^ heroic.
Return to North Freeport and speak to Preceptor Nyjuss. You will then be sent to speak with Watcher Lirosi, who is in the tavern in StoneStair Byway. On hailing Lirosi, you will be attacked by an 81^^^ version. Upon killing Lirosi, you get a bit more dialogue.
After this, you are sent back to Preceptor Nyjuss in NFP. You're then sent to recover a tome in Kunark from a member of the Ebon Mask.
The book is being held by Morticus Belaern in Terens Grasp. Morticus is on the ground level, past the ramp up towards bank at 2223, 479, -779. He turns into an 85^^^ after dialogue and auto-attacks. (Get the killshot if at all possible. Fight where they spawn. Must be wearing robe.)
After killing Morticus, you recieve the second An Ancient Grimoire and are then told to return to the Preceptor. Preceptor Nyjuss sends you to find a sage who can identify the two tomes. The sage you need to find is Old Man Pomeranke in the Thundermist Village in Thundering Steppes at 552, 0, -72. Note that he is NOT trackable.
Old Man Pomeranke sends you on a quest to find his dictionary in a 'crypt with flashing lights' in kunark.
The place to find this dictionary is in Sebilis: Loc -151, -22, 310. A Skeleton sitting in the corner near the labs in the room with golems.
Return to Old Man Pomerenke in Thundermist Village.This updates the Mysterious Trinket quest to the following: I must travel to Kunark in search of a Shisik translater.
The Shisik Translator is Kuza Sathak - She roams in Dalnir's wheel. This step is going to cost you 5 platinum. You *MUST* stealth to speak with her. You also need the Sathirian language.
She will return the tomes and send you to 'find and slay the creature that placed the spell upon the tomes.' This is Drusella Sathir.
Return to Kuza Sathak. Upon returning, she will ask for time to translate- takes about a minute. After translating, she gives you A Translated Grimoire Then she sends you back to Preceptor Nyjuss in NFP.
Nyjuss sends you to 'discover the location of the temple mentioned in the tome' This is Chelsith. Upon entering Chelsith, you get update and quest asks you to search for clues.
In Chelsith, you need to clear the entire zone. Upon Majora's death, the altars of worship become clickable -- A cleared instance not used by an assassin to update this step no longer works. These are the statues where the rare named/placeholders spawn. There is no need to clear the mobs at statue except one. The others can be clicked from behind if your group is capable of making it to them without death.
429, 43, 124 *** - This one MUST be cleared
The five statues must be clicked nearly simultaneously, so basically just have group members spam-click every item. Once you get the update, a chest will spawn at the altar at 429, 43, 124. Clicking the chest spawns Protector of the Blade, an 85^^^ heroic droag. He seems to be easier to kill than others in our epic- just be sure to fight with tank up against a wall, as he knockbacks/deaggros.
Upon killing the Keeper, the chest becomes clickable, and updates rewarding you with a strange amulet and updating quest to 'Discover a use for the Amulet' with a hint about droag and dragons.
This requires going to skyfire and clicking three pedastals, supposedly has to be in the correct order. Also, apparently need Draconian language.

NOTE: This step is bugged. If Guardian of the Blade has been spawned and not killed, you CANNOT update the amulet by reading scrolls.
This updates the quest to 'Discover what you've just unleashed in Jarsath Wastes'. Go to the steps of Veeshan's Peak. Guardian of the Blade will spawn and speak some dialogue. At the end of the dialogue, he turns aggro as an 86^^^ heroic.
Upon killing Guardian of the Blade you are awarded with a no-stat version of Fang of Ichor. Return to Preceptor Nyjuss for the stat version and a cash reward of ~5pp.

Quest starter:
The raid version of the Assassin epic starts by speaking to Preceptor Nyjuss immediately after finishing your heroic epic. Upon starting the quest, Nyjuss sends you to Darklight Woods to kill Opal Darkbriar, an escaped convict from Freeport.
Quest steps:
1st:
Opal Darkbriar spawns near the Nektulos zoneline and paths(very quickly) to the Neriak gates, where she then despawns. You have to catch her on the road in order for her to stop, then complete her dialogue and she becomes an 85x2 epic mob. (Note: I've been told she's been killed with less than one group)
After killing Opal Darkbriar you receive 'a note to Queen Cristanos Thex' which you are then told to return to Preceptor Nyjuss.
2nd:
Returning the note to Preceptor Nyjuss updates the quest, informing you that you must now kill the Drachnid Queen. This is Tairiza the Widow Mistress, in The Tomb of Thuuga.
Killing Tairiza rewards you with a rune engraved tablet and a quest update to return to Preceptor Nyjuss.
3rd:
Nyjuss sends you to 'collect the heart of the Leviathan'. This, obviously, means you are to kill the Leviathan in the Chamber of Destiny. After killing the Leviathan, you receive the 'blackened leviathan heart' and sent back to NFP to speak to the Preceptor.
4th:
Taking the heart to Nyjuss updates your quest. The banishment from Freeport has apparently been removed. The step updates to 'Slay Druushk with the Fang of Ichor. Keep the heart in your other hand.' and provides you with a crappy little blackened leviathan heart weapon. Kill Druushk in Veeshan's Peak dual wielding the two.
Return to Preceptor Nyjuss.
All steps must be done in order, with returning to Nyjuss between each step.

Just a note, while fighting Watcher Lirosi, the questwould not update when I killed him. Was in group with a zerker, brigand and a templar. On the last try, the zerker went LD and I had aggro at the end of the fight and suddenly got the chat text/update. It seems as though this step will only update if you have the aggro on the mob when it "dies". or maybe I was just bugged silly, but it might be worth thinking about if you have problems with this step.
