i have the simplest hot bars in all of EQ....

3rd one is off screen and is all set to my keyboard strokes - like E is FD, sit / stand is Q, chars that have stealth E is stealth / invis.

why don't you just go ahead and design the perfect hotbar setup for all of us, and we'll all just use it!

I would, if i played anything but a bruiser / necro... my scout (brig) is 38, and i cant use my standard UI cause it just dosnt work good enough.

Besides, what works best for me, wount work best for you Hoss. I thought you would know that, i mean.. isnt that why your hot bars are set up the way you have them?

Here's my 2c worth:

Main CA's are top row, conceilment chain is second row left to right (I use Disfiguring Strike to initiate). Honed Reflexes and Murderous Focus are macroed together 3rd row last one and of course my buffs are bottom row. I have another hotbar off to the right, smaller then this one that has my potions, shards/hearts and other little stuff.

Of course everyone has their own preference but this works best for me!

It looks like I'm the only one who plays in letterbox. I like it better because then I can slide all the controls that clutter up a screen off to the blackened, unused portions. I solo a lot so I open with my biggest BS, then go down the line up top center, ending with velium strike to root... then back away for some bow and kiting to finish off the mob. If I'm grouped/raiding, then I concentrate more on the lower right section.

I usually use a mouse, but will often go to keystrokes for quicker results, especially when I'm not having to joust or strafe.

Most of the stuff on the 3 lower right bars are things I don't only need once in a while (like redoing buffs). I do use my heart/shard/manastone trio a lot, but that's about the only one that gets much work.
