Calculating CA damage is just a matter of adding up the CA damage on each piece of your gear, is that right? Or is the information available via the persona window (in which case, I had not noticed).

I can confirm that wearing the Manipulator's Hat parses much higher than the Reet hat.

I agree with you Aamy about the sarnak belt, the small double attack chance isn't worth it unless ofcourse you manage to get closer to 30% DB chance.

Or type this in game: /dynamicdata stats.Melee_Amount_Mod

I prefer the Reet had over the Manipulators personally -shrug-
I have both of them, and I have parsed both of them, and have gotten better results from the Reet helm.

BTW once u get mythical + crit in my opinion gains value cause it affects the epic flurry effect...and yes i gota change my gear setup now :P

DPS increase from 1 melee crit:

DPS gain = .01 * (AA_dps_no_crit * .5 + CA_dps_no_crit * .3)

If you're parsing 4k, then you're about 3400 w/o crit... so AA_dps_no_crit = ~800, CA_dps_no_crit = ~2600... and thus, your dps gain is about 12 dps.

If you figure you're doing one CA that does damage every 1.5 seconds, then that's 18 CA damage.

CA damage, however, is more effective vs higher level mobs because 1) crit chance is slightly lower vs higher level mobs, and 2) your autoattack will miss more often, lowering your AA dps.

CA damage is usually very underrated. Assassins won't cap the CA dmg bonus on the majority of their CAs since most Assassin CAs are 800 damage or higher.

On second thought, 0.65 instead of 0.5 would be more accurate, but that's not going to change the outcome by much... it'll change the result to 19-20 CA damage.
