Best pick from Thuuga? neck vs ring

I am wondering what you all think is the best combo to get.
If I go thuuga band i can get the BT choker/ganak torque (just the most common i think I can get instead)
if I go thuuga talisman I can go reet eye ring and something..(prob imbued str ring for a while)

I know what i listed above is not the best, but I just wanted to know which piece I should go with. For whichever piece I dont get, I want the replacement to be as most comparable/upgrade over not going the other way.

Suggestions with explanations/items would be appreciated.

Thuuga ring / BT choker is prob absolute best but it just depends on if you can wear the choker fulltime.

Depends how good your healers are I guess.

Choker is the item that increases the damage of CA's by 10%, but costs you 5% health for every CA you use.

If you go with the Talisman, Reet Eye Ring & Nax's Ring (quested in Kunzar Jungle) you are looking at:
8 melee crit
4 ranged crit
+70 ca damage
Hp: 395
Power: 420

A combination of Ganak's Torque, Band of Thuuga & Reet Eye would give you:
9 melee crit
+95 ca damage
Hp: 495
Power: 435

No real clear-cut winner, but I personally went with the Neck, though still unsure if that was best choice. Doubt I'll ever get a BT choker since no players want to even step foot in that zone.

Going with the band,reet eye, and ganaks I get:

with Talisman, reet eye and nax
92str

52int

so with band over talisman I get:
+10str, +42sta, -5agi, -52int,+100hp,+15pwr, +1MC +25MC -4RC

So the only question is the 52int 4RC worth it?

52int and 4RC > 1MC and 25MC?

Also, the hp buff isn't to be looked over either.

We aren't rangers and so don't exactly know how much ranged is used in high end raiding - please enlighten me if it is.
At the moment, I am leaning towards the band. 52int would help the poisons some, but the 1MC and 25CA is pretty damn nice.

Ranged crit is much harder to obtain than melee crit and helps when you are required to joust or range certain fights. It is also helpful for soloing if you are kiting. I think 4 range crit is worth more than 1 mc and 25 ca but i could be insane.

You are most likely insane. But for the assassins who regularly step back and fire off the bow shots, its worth something. I've just never figured out how much. I might do that this weekend.

I don't think he's insane. You mean you don't fire your bow, especially when jousting?

To the OP: Took at peek at your gear on eqplayers and no disrespect, but seeing as the bow you're currently using isn't very good, imo the Band/Ganak's combo would benefit your dps more.

well yeah, I wear it because of the stats, don't use it that often. I'm still doing rok instances until I'm 80.

I do have the bow from VoES, thats what I plan to use in ranged fights.
