Rob, for assassins, the eof abilities are so lame, that you should probably put 50 pts into the predator tree before even thinking about the assassin tree. The only exception would be if you solo a lot, it would be a good idea to put points into cheap shot, and maybe try to get points into the defensive stance upgrade. But don't try to get an endline ability, like repeated stabbing for instance, before you get the INT line.

Fortunately for you, you can now move points between trees with a respec. i didn't have that option when i was up and coming and I often cussed about the mis-spent points in the assassin tree.

OMG Hoss, really?

What is eof ability mean? I'm new to this game.

Are you saying avoid the STR line and any points in that tree in favor of tricks/physicality or other in that tree?

What would you recomend I put my points in strait away to get the most out of pvp the fastest if not going for a end of line talent?

I have no idea how to respec, is it unlimited? How much does it cost? Where would I go if I wanted to do that?

OK I'm a little retarded, I think you are saying don't put any points in tricks/physicality and instead go STR then INT or some other lines there. So after STR would you recomend INT right away? I only really care about pvp so coming from that standpoint does what you said still stand?

Also my question about respecing is still there, I have no idea how that works or how much that costs hehe.

I know nothing about pvp. Sorry, i missed that part of your original post. Wait and hope faabio or a couple of other pvpers answer.

But, for the record, I was saying go str then int, unless you do a lot of soloing, then instead of going int right away, spend a few pts on cheap shot.

But yea, if that other post was serious, yes you can re-spec so its no big deal to throw them in what looks good for now, then like when you up to 25 pts, respec and take one of the endline abilities. respecs are 10s, 10g and then 1 plat and the price resets after 30 days.

eof = assassin tree, kos = predator tree.

Well you have two options :

1.) Go strength and get some melee crit and the end line.

2.) Go agility and get ranged crit for owning chumps in the face with a bow.

Either are a viable choice for PvP, of course intoxication is good but I honestly don't use it, to each their own though. You DO want to go down int to get the crit, but that's obvious.

In the Assassin tree RS is a given...along with frontload...than you have the choice of either getting Getaway or Excessive bleeding.

I personally enjoy excessive bleeding because when you stack dots people lose like 2k hp, and that's always nice. If you do that I suggest putting 5 points into sprint so you can catch runners and can sprint away from overpowered classes~

Obviously you know "naught" about the game as a whole if you think it should be only comprised of PvE

I can imagine at later levels strength is way more important, but at 20's maybe even 30's while you don't have a good slow weapons you get much more dps boost from the int line.
I've been into strength until 24. Then I changed spec into Int / tricks and the difference in pvp is really impressive.

The lack of str I partially compensate with adorments.

Inzi,

Where did you put your AA's in and in what order when for your respec to int/tricks? And what in particular about Int/Tricks is making the difference that you feel like you are doing so much better in pvp than with STR? Just trying to understand so I can make good choices. The only thing I see in Int that seems to be strong (but I don't reallly understand everything yet) is the final ability, while the entire STR tree looks like it would be helpful. Is it the final INT ability you think that makes up for not having the rest of the STR stuff, or is it your Adorns crit like crazy from the int crit line? I don't have any adorns yet (only level 12 and have no clue what I would get anyway since I practically know nothing about them). Anyway, what about the respec do you find more usefull/strong in pvp over the stuff you had in STR?

52% spell crit chance which affects all the different procs, as I mentioned. Intoxication is a very significant improvement to your alpha strike and overall dps.

Don't get your panties in a wad faabs. We all know PvP was an afterthought in EQ2, that it kinda sucks here compared to other MMOs, and that PvE was how god intended the game to be played. I'm not saying you are some sort of deviant just because you choose to play the game in that manner. I might be thinking it, but I'd never say it.

You pretty much can play with no AA points distributed until like T7 in PvE, I believe.
Leveling in this game is an easy mode anyways.
