Default Where to start with AA's while growing up

I read the other posts about AA and i have a good general idea about AA. But what I don't know is when you have very few points (like me just starting out level 11 Assassin) where I should go to get the most out of them as soon as possible. I have 2 AA's right now, anyone have advice on how to start off to get some good abilities asap? I've seen some say go STR all the way, others go Tricks, others a combination of a bunch of stuff. I want to be as good as possible as fast as possible. The latest advice and what I was currently considering was 4 into STR, then 5 into AGI (to get point blank shot), then go down the tricks line. Any other thoughts? Is it better to go strait down a line for the powerful end abilities?

PS - I am pvp all the way, not concerned with leveling much, enjoying the quests and taking my time crafting/pvping so I locked my level as to not outdate my quests and also to get as strong as possible. I probably will lock every 5 or so levels after the upgrades 12,22,32 etc then unlock as I get near the next tier.

Anyway any advice is as always appreciated, I know somewhat which abilites are considered to be good for pvp, BUT, which order to get them so I can start in the right direction?

STR first just because having killing blade on a 2 min timer is so much better then having it on a 3 min timer. Also it ups ur crits, and gives you a very good starter CA.

Agi gives you a second stun tho, but I guess that's your preference mate.

I went all the way down to Intoxication in the Int line and 8 seconds stiffle with only 3 points into Str line... Im more than happy with it in pvp. 54% crit chance for all the spells rawks. I'd even say overpowered at my mid T3

Hey Inzi..

Just as info, cos it sounded like u didnt quite understand the concept there..

For a Assasin Spells are only Item Procs and Poisons.. you wont have any crit chance on your combat arts, which is quite a shame, and which is why STR might be the better choice.

Just as info

Fizzie I do know that.
But having a lot of procs it gives me some impressive dps boost. Much more then I'd get from strength line, tbh. At least at this level with only 1.6s daggers.

I never pvp'd. Do you do it in groups or something? I can't figure out where you get 'a lot of proc's' when running solo.

Poison, 2 different procs on weapon, mark, reactive procs from armor, proc from intoxication, proc from blade flurry.

Thanks so far, I think I'm headed strait down STR then I'm not sure where I'll go after that. I'd like the melee crits and end ability there I think, plus all the abilities there seem pretty useful. As of now I'm thinking after STR I'll probably start building my tricks tree, then maybe physicality or something like that.

meh. poison, mark and intox are the only ones that are worth counting. Granted, those 3 can always be in your top 5 damage doers, but all of them together might do as much as your auto-attack, and the melee crit helps ... well pretty much everything else except ranged.

But again, I know naught of PVP it might be completely different. For PVE (the real EQ2) if you take int before str, you are screwing up.
