Assassin Combat Help

I have recently rolled up an assassin and need a little help/understanding of how to DPS effectively. I am currently level 57 and have the STR line and RS line.

I have noticed in groups that I have fallen short, imo, in the parse to other classes that I thought I would beat out. I guess I am looking for an effective combat art chain that is used when soloing as well as some expectations as to where I will typically fall in the parse in group settings. Any help is appreciated -- I really have no clue when it comes to the Scout classes as I have only had tanks and casters in my 3+ year stint with EQ2.

Get kos int line + 5 aa in hemo enhance
yeah, adorn your weaps with vampiric handle or the manatap one if you fell the lack of power.

You will most likely fall short in terms of DPS at that level in groups as you would need good weapons and Adept3s + ... but that's long ago since I was 57 so can't say.
For grouping you should just spam Mark when it's up and all your dots, but then use your long recast CA's when they are up. Then of course Concealment on whatever lasts long enough to cast and finish a half decent "chain" which is probably nothing now though.
Other than that, just keep up with the basic stuff like staying in melee range and maintaining all poisons.

In groups, you can't really do a full CA chain. I like to just use conceal chains as much as possible to practice getting them off and recovering. If we are pulling fast enough that conceal isn't up, then run through your other CAs.

I don't think any chain will be good for soloing and grouping. When soloing, once you use your decent frontal attacks, you need to start stunning and moving behind for stealth attacks.

You should be owning the parse against people of your same level, unless you have another high dps class.
