Auto attack timing with CA

ok I am able to parse pretty high but i never really figured out how to time my auto attack with my CA:

im using my fabled epic and the carotidcutter for weps and with my self my self buffed delay at 4.0 exactly

i was looking for any helpful ways you guys time your CA and auto attacks to maximize dps any info i will be grateful for :D i tried a few different things and i just dont have any idea on how to time it right

The majority of assassins do not. It's rather pointless with an intelligent AA setup to do it, since you're unlikely to miss an autoattack by more than a quarter-half a second.

However, if you're particular set on it, run ACT and set an alert to autoattack hits. Eventually you'll get used to it and it'll be second nature.

track you hit / you critical hit / you critically double attack , set trigger one sec before...
but your delays will change in raid depending on hastes..

On note, you do not "miss" auto-attack, they re just delayed between 2 CAs.

tho, i m curious about parses with timed and non timed auto-attacks.

with a mythical who do multiple attacks on hit, may be it has a bigger impact to delay on long fights ?

If your weapon is a 4 sec delay, and over the course of a fight you collectively push it back 4 seconds, then you just missed an auto attack.

So yes, it is possible to miss auto attacks by spamming CA's, but tbh I don't think it makes any difference in the end for assassins, maybe with the mythical but I'd doubt it /shrug.
