I've read all the posts back till march in this thread and my Assassin is 76 now and doing quite well. We raid 4 times a week and have everything on farm up to VS... why we can't kill VS is a whole nother thread.

Question is, I've seen assassin dps should be 8-10 percnet ofverall of raid dps, so if raid is doing 40-50k, i should be doing 3.2-5k is that right?

The next question is, should I expect to be parsing that w/o mythical or VP loot... I'd assume so since it's related to overall raid dps. The point of comparing to raid dps is to compare to the gearing of the raid I would think.

The last question is, for a guild that runs 2 chanters 3 bards every raid with a good mix of dps, we should be breaking 50k on trash in kor-sha I'd think... pretty much everyone has everything they can get from the raids up to the point in our progression. So if our DPS is low for our gear, should I expect myself to do more than 10%.

Normal group for my assassin would be troub illu warlock necro fury assassin.

Thanks for the time in answering this post... I just want to make sure I don't suck, same as everyone else... and want to make sure I'm using the right measuring stick.

Level to 80 and then look again. Your not gonna get good numbers being 76 fighting lv84+ Epic's.

QFE.

You need to do these 3 things first, before worrying about doing 8-10% of raidwide dps:

1.) Hit 80
2.) get your epic
3.) get crit over 50%

Once you get those 3 things done, hitting 3-5k on guardian trash in Korsha is very very easy.

Pre-epic, at 80, assuming you don't suck raid-wise, 3k should be easy.
