I'm missing something, help

Hi everybody, and first of all thank you for reading this post.

I have been reading these forums for quite a while now, and i stay in the guk.assassin channel, always reading whats said if not putting in my own coments. I am an 80 assassin, Currently the top parser ZW by a decent amount in guild raids, BUT my dps isnt any where near all these assassins are saying they parse. I've got all my adept 3s, with Execute, Fatal Followup, and Moon Blade all mastered. I have my lvl 75 M2 is Death Mark. My gear is mostly high instance low raid gear, I have my Epic, with the Carotidcutter. My AA's the pred tree i have STR: 46481, AGI 44871, INT 4448, Assassin tree i have Repeated Stabbings and Exsesive Bleeding, and im working on getting frontload (5 aa away).

As far as my casting order, i normaly go: (CA's in () i use when available)
Bladed Opening
Death Mark
Deadly Impale
Gushing Wound
Squeeze
Disfiguring Strike
Mesh
Poison Combination
Concealment
Masked Strike
(Mortal Blade)
Pinpoint Blade
Jugular Slice
Stealth Assault
Slate
(Execute)
Fatal Followup
then i just continue hitting the rest of my attacks as they light up.

My ZW parse tonight with a less than optimal group (IIRC Me, Wiz, Lock, Troub, Warden, Brig) was right at 2700, and while i was 200 above any one else (next was a swashy) i dont feel thats anywhere near subpar even. My highest ZW was about 3200, breaking 6k on my top parse, but even that shows i need much work.

Whats the rest of the raid doing dps wise?

I ask as this also will have an affect on your dps also.

Do the Thuuga quest to get your ring or neck item. You can also go for the Choker from SoF. Also get the Reet collection helm until you get manipulators hood or something better.

You might want to replace Tyn shackle with something better..

Get your shit adorned if you haven't already.

Thats just what comes to mind so far.

And what is your raid's overall dps? If you are doing 10% or more of it you are doing fine imo.

Keep in mind that many ppl in ww channel have their mythicals.
And trying to compare yourself to assassins in guilds with a dps burn twice that of your own guilds' is pointless, you can't compete.

Thank you for your timely responses, both of you. In response:

Raidwide ZW dps tonight was 30365, mine 2734, 9% (and though I shouldn't come up with excuses i was afk a long time, and also do to getting my comp fixed i was trying to get act to work right, or i would of done 10% easy). I have parsed upto 14% raidwide in a ZW parse.

I have been working on the Bloodthirsty choker. so far lost out on it 3 times, first to another assassin, then a guardian, then a paladin... wanted to kill the damned pally.

My gear is adorned to the best of my money limits

Thuuga quest reward is on my list of things i need to complete soon.

And as far as helm do to me being a poor assassin im just holding off till i can get the manipulator's helm being as how we raid PR once or twice a week.

According to what i've seen, and the gear post on this forum the Tynnonium Shackle is one of the best ones i can get with what i have availiable for me.

Yea, another quest which is on my list of things to do, but when i got it was planning on replacing my other braclet with it.

In comparison to your raids overall DPS I would say you are fine. The better you and your raid as a whole get the more DPS you will put out

Hum your rings suck sorry to say... you need reet eye ring and thuuga ring and get a choker from SoF

A) Move mortal blade after pinpoint. Always use Masked/Pinpoint together.

B) Your dps is much lower than the assassin channel average because your raid dps is about 1/3 - 3/5 the average high-end raid dps. (1/3ish of the *very* high end, though that's still a bit of an exaggeration, I think) Your dps is actually decent for your raid-wide total.

1/3rd is reasonable for most zones. Kor-Sha, 100k ZW is expectable, maybe even higher possible as well.
