Ya I wanna know what good Sheilds there are out there for an assassin, and whats the highest mitigation gear, with +parry and +block jewelery and adornments. I did make an assassin for the leet tanking abilities afterall!!

the VP one is not bad, think it has +5 def, high stats and over 1k mit.
fun for tanking instances...or maybe the fights where a scout HAS to tank..but really...a shield is just for gigs and shits.
