Assassin Swipe

An ability called "Swipe" is repeatedly showing up in my parse (and the other assassin in the guild) that is contributing about 2% overall damage.

I've looked over my CA's, gear, procs etc and can't find "swipe" anywhere.

Can anyone shed any light on this mystery?

(Oddly enough I got accused the other night of "swiping" a mob that the raid leader didn't want swiped. When I informed the person that assy's don't swipe, they pointed out that it was in the parse)

Neither assassin in your guild knows what it is? Thats funny...um ya its the proc on your offensive stance, I beleive has had the same name attached to it since like t6.

ha ha, oh shit I think the other night the swashies were getting blamed for swiping a mob they didn't want swiped, and they both claimed they weren't using it. Maybe someone was seeing me and the other assassin do it and never bothered to figure out who it was coming from.

Don't any of your raid leaders pay attention to the effects on the mob? It's easy to spot.

Come to think of it... we were having issues with the last name in PR, a name that we have gotten dozen's of times before. The problem is as soon as the Pillar wards went up the tank kept getting owned (someone was still attacking). The other problem was we were losing the timer as someone was extending the ae. A non raid leader type person was playing Sherlock Holmes trying to cast blame on someone. He saw swipe on us and started to ask questions.

After the pillars come down, there is a bit of a delay on the ae anyway.

Always has been in my experience. Pillars drop, if you aren't a brigand, aren't ae avoided, or can't take the hit... stay back and range it till it goes off.
