Anything that one misses quite often (mobs on avatar fight, avatars themselves) hemo should always beat caustic

Ahh...I've never looked at my caustic hit rate on lvl 85+ mobs. However, Eledeen was posting parse from Thuuga and SoH shit...not avatars.

It's not about caustic hit rate, it's more about the fact that you will not hit the mob as often thus you will not proc as often, thus having hemo ticking on the mob while you miss will be more effective than having nothing go off at all.

Probably. Except i dont have any caustic poisons on me. Haha. I'll probably start doing that. How much of a DPS difference does it make in that group setup?

Bingo!.... remember only your first main hand hit can proc the poison.. all DA attacks and flurry's and offhand cannot

A good example of this is the freaking Milyex fight... Or the Druushk fight ( you can dot Druushk and resume your add burning activity :D )

Then again there are fights where dots = bad so hahaha :D use at your discretion

I prefer the incredibly lazy approach which is just use Hemo all the time - except for VS and Trak.

Druushk is such a silly example for lots of things because you can "deactivate" his damage sheild completely.

But what if you are stuck with a templar and dirge all the time.
Wouldn't you then consider using caustic all the time?
Especially when you pop Frontload and doing zones like PR, Thuuga, Paw, OK, VS, SoH, CoD.
