You have to add it together, if you keep doing it then you will get less AAs. It might not be important for Assassin to time AA, but for Rogue/Ranger it is.

The last time i checked this is the assassin forum, and if you want to post on your class do it someplace else. Timing auto attacks is stupid as shit, assume it takes the 3.2 or 3.3 seconds in raid setup to hit the damn mob again, and we lose .3 seconds each time the AA is supposed to hit, it will take 11 times of our AA comming up and us spamming in the process for us to miss 1 ca. So while it would be 30 seconds and us missing 1 little AA of 2 to 6k think about what we would lose waiting for our AA to hit again.

I love how peeps that dont own assassins come in here and slam our class for being overpowered then call us useless to raids, then tell us how to play our class, then wont back up their arguements.. makes me happy to accidentally post 10 and 12k parses in 70's and 80's.

On the subject of the post, I don't "time" auto attack but I do keep them in mind with my casting order. IE don't use contrived wep right out of a conceal chain otherwise you may just be sitting invis while watching a cast bar. Crap like that.

With my ranger timing auto attacks was big part of good DPS. Hard habit to break but i'm loving the asssasin so far!

auto-attack timing is a very big issue for an assassin, profit ui has a tool to calculate the time of auto-attacks, but not showing them *grr*. perhaps use that tool, calculate and learn to match auto-attacks between your ca's. (eq2interface.xxx)
