Default Assassin Casting Order

Hey guys, hope i can get some helpfull advice, ive had a ranger for the longest time, and stuck at lvl 45, recently betrayed and got to 55. Now im looking to maximize my dps in group set ups, and looking for advice on casting order, got the AA down pat and i can dps pretty high, but not sure what i should be doing because I dont really know the class all that well.
for example i was dpsing with a well geared 80 mentored warlock, and althought he was almost always topping with me trailing, i was comming up close behind, and was thinking i should still be able to beat him.
I'm currently wearing full 52 MC gear and have several, (but not all) adept 3's.
Anything with the casting order, even if you reference to your T8 spells, Im sure i can translate them pretty quick and easy.
Anything at all guys and thanks for the help.

Have you figured out how to do a Concealment chain? It's our bread-and-butter for dps.

I'm assuming you have if you are keeping up with the Warlock, but some betrayed Rangers seem to have a problem with it like not knowing you need to cast a regular non-stealth ca to get into stealth quickly after you hit it - for you, casting Mask of Night followed by Punch Blade is an ideal way to start it.

Keep those two Ca's on the same timer and always cast them right when they refresh. Eventually the refresh time of this combo will become second nature and you'll learn to hit it instinctively right as it comes up.

If you have that down there really isn't much else to know as far as parsing in a group is concerned - use common sense (ie. Dot's/Mark at beginning of fight) and just cast things as they come up for the most part.

another lil tip that has helped my concelment chains is starting with your longest casting stelth CA's first ie. aoes then following up with the directional stelth attacks and save your non-directional stelth arts for last, so if you take agro it won't destroy your flow .. as much

he's also looking to up his grp dps, not raid dps, and most grp mobs are going to be dead half way through a conceal chain...and without FF there really isn't any reason to try and chain all of his stealth attacks. In grps I stealth before the mob gets there and open with a stealth attack, and then just mark, dot, etc. Can usually rotate moonblade, stifle, and ae dot, one each pull with the occassional deadly blade.

Only thing about that, with using those 2 in combination all the time, other than concealment, how do i get any other stealth attacks in? a lot of the time, i use the back attack to put me in stealth, and then use different steath CA's Deathly Blade (green tipped dagger) is my favourite

Anyways, my casting order usually goes as follows:

-Start with slip away out of combat, then use an invis attack, one on longer recast with more dmg to start.
-Then I hit exposing mark, and start applying the dot's (Oozing Wound, Insidious Wound, and Lingering Blow).
-Next i get off my debufs such as the snare, and Anathema, the main debuff.
-Then i continue to use all of my CA's and then go down 2 possible roads; either I use my improvised weapon to throw while i gain a little room from mob, then use all bow attacks, at least the multi-shot and flanking/rear shot, then proceed to go back in for more CA's.
-The second road is that i use the back attack, and start getting as many invis attacks off as i can also using surveil, and possibly concealment, then i later use the bow attacks
- when i run out of attacks, and am done my first combo of CA's then i tend to get sloppy button spamming just about anything that comes up to get the mob dead.
- only thing i try not to do is use assassinate too much, i like to save it for adds that may kill us, or for bosses.

althought more complicated than probably needed, that is roughly my average casting order, and any tips on improving is much appreciated

there is one last thing i forgot to ask, I am assuming that as an assassin, or with any melee class you should be timing your CA's with auto attack to get more dmg in, to up your parse, can anyone tell me how it works and the best way to have your weaps (which delay for which hand)
also if there is anyone out there that uses ACT parser that can tell me how to set it up to ding in tune with my melee, and how that works too lol. if the ding goes then that means i stop using CA's and it will auto attack for me.
anyway lets hear your different appinions thx.

Heh, you'd think so.
Do you do many pug's? The dps can be pretty weak, especially on names, not like your guildie group where everything dies in 2-3 seconds.

No, don't bother.
