Ok I am trying to with my gear to the best of my ability..

I am working on it always but please forgive me about this but i am trying to understand based purely on the loot listing in this section.

Here is my current gear layout, i have always tried to push for Melee Crit above all else but just got the damn bp from Nexona, i bid on it based that it was listed higher then the GI, tho it has no melee Crit, please tell me if i did wrong or right on this.

Everything has value.

Figure out what you are lacking and improve it. Obviously MC is desired but if your in a grp with zero DA buffs DA is also extremely valuable (read: with Mythical).

You better then us know what your usual raid grp setups are. If you have a Mystic + Illus and you get the IA your like capped with those players and the DA is hardly usefull for you. If you in an OT grp with a dirge and a zerker - you might need the extra DA.

Its not a bad item to have either way.

Normally I am ran in the mage group, so i run with Feral and IA, being as the Ili has his mythical that is an additional 10% DA, so going off what you said, using the GI would be better, but if i am kicked to one of the other groups, the Lava-Forged would be better, where DA is lower.

Its because at a point, you will have well over 100% MC and only say 40% DA.
Then that 4DA and 85CA > 4MC.
But really you want to have the option to switch between depending on what group you get..as stated by chapel. I can't see your gear, I'm at work.

Well i just did the math finally, i guess i should have done it before asking questions but with the gi i'm about 72 or so melee crit, so take 4 melee crit away to add the DA, and the CA damage plus the stats, i can see the benefit to include the proc of our mythical.

Or just stick with melee crit until you reach 100 in raids, then do whatever

Id wear the 4da + 85CA over the Maidens Gi all day long In fact I wore the Leviathon BP over the GI till I took the Maestro chest to replace it...and still wore the Leviathon BP except on DS mobs...cuz the Maestro Chest was broken the entire time I played.

If you get good at it you can learn to keep that leviathon proc up like constant and click it off before the downside happens...WAY WAY better then the Gi.

How do you get the leviathan proc up? It only happens when you are hit right? Does damage from the choker count or were you acting like a ward for the tank, absorbing a few hits now and then?
