Ok i have spoken with a few other assassins about master 2 choices and was debating it.

Everone should know the choices but if not let me say them here what they are and how i currently have them. Last night i finally got the pinpoint blade master 1, so i switched from the master 2 choice to it, because i was debating upgrading Mark to my Master 2 choice, but i wanted to get some more opinions what you would do.

Slate=Adept 3
Death Mark=Master 1
Pinpoint Blade=Master 1
Dot (can't remember the name)=Adept 3

So let me know.

First i do agree Mark over all is the better choice but i guess i'm just trying to understand something.

The difference between the Master 1 and Master 2 of Mark is about 70 point damage or somewhere around that range.

So back on topic but we have the 70 or so difference there but on the dot which is a faster recast, it is a 400 something increase in damage to that ca. Here is what i was considering, and feel free to tell me i am wrong in my thinking but, since i have Mark at Master 1, leave it at master 1 for now and ungrade my dot to master 2 until i can come across the master 1 for it. Would that increase be better over all for dps?

No matter what...Mark is by far the best upgrade. Regardless if you have Master 1 of it, and Adept 3 of all the others. Mark will STILL increase your dps the most.

i have mark , slate, scarring all M1 at the moment and am waiting till i get pinpoint m1 to switch back to mark...makes most sense to me to do this since ill get more out of everything until i can get pinpoint m1 then i can finally go back to mark

Here, lets do hard numbers so people can stop this nonsense (I'm just going to give you pure numbers based on my toons stats unbuffed/etc - it's all relative at any rate - and we'll see if you figure out why DM is a better choice):

Scarring Blow(SB) - 10 second recast, 12 second duration.
Pinpoint Blade(PP) - 10 second recast.
Death Mark(DM) - 30 second recast.
Slate(Sl) - 1 minute recast.

At best, you're going to get 3 Pinpoints per Deathmark, or 3 Scarring Blows(Though not waiting the 2 extra seconds is kind of..) And, of course, 6 of either and 2 DM's per Slate. So we're going to look at it on a 30 second scale. (This is with insta-casting SB, so only 2 ticks per cast)

AD3:

SB: 688-950 + 212. (x3 = 2064-2850 + 636 [at most, 3486])
PP: 1632-2433 (x3 = 4896 - 7299)
DM: 543-905 x5 (2715 - 4525)
Sl: 1888-3052(AE) (/2 = 944-1526)

M1:

SB: 727-1027 + 242. (x3 = 2181-3081 + 726 [at most, 3807]) (+321) (107 per cast)
PP: 1803-2719. (x3 = 5409-8147) (+848) (282.67 per cast)
DM: 621-1035 x5 (3105-5175) (+650)
Sl: 2137-3467(AE) (+415) (/2 = 1088.5-1733.5)

M2:

SB: 802-1111 + 250. (x3 = 2406-3333 + 750 [at most, 4083]) (+276) (92 per cast)
PP: 1846-2791. (x3 = 5538 - 8373) (+226) (75.33 per cast)
DM: 640-1067 x5 (3200-5335) (+160)
Sl: 2200-3571(AE) (+104) (/2 = 1100-1785.5)

(Edit: Oh, and this is, of course, with damage increase AA's maxed for SB)
