While we're not getting a level cap increase in TSO, the gear should be progressively better. As such, a thread specific to T8 gear(Which hopefully Vaanir will continue to update to keep a listing of the *best* T8 gear, non-specific to expansion) is located *here*, however- I will, with edit rights and a sticky hopefully soon to be provided - be using this thread to keep up to date with the best gear available in TSO at a glance.

Most of the TSO Void Shard gear is relatively worthless - the accessory sets, for instance, almost all suck.

Two half-decent jewelry sets - Onslaught has a decent earring and cloak to upgrade pre-raid gear. The other just has a half-decent proc, too bad the stats suck.

Tainted Shadowsteel is the raid set to replace the VP set?

If so... wow. Way for them to nerf gear or give us stuff that's just equal to what we had by forcing us to wear Crit Mit lol.

7 DA on our current BP, 2 min off of execute
3 crit on our new bp, A DA PROC, 2 min off of execute. Yay!

So not only is the new gear going to lower our DPS, we have to wear it, it's going to throw our stats/specs out of whack. Suhweet!

Pretty much all of TSO loot is geared at having lower stats *and* Crit Mit or a proc, it seems.

Which means we'll have to keep running all the RoK zones still. The proc's on the TSO gear looks nice, but way to make stuff less reliable and can't be counted on, instead we have to hope for proc's. Woot.

I play an Assassin to DPS, and now I'm supposed to spec for survivability lol. Yay!

Hmm seems the legendary sets have some 35-38% haste items built in to em.. but was conveniently left out of the fabled set /suxors... to bad the fabled shoulders didnt include the plus to base spell dmg as well as the ca base bonus,,

looks as though some slots be running legendary gear in again .. we'll see
