Well I'm not sure about loraxe, but I plan on raiding. However, it probably will not go so well with my t7 mc armor/weapons. Level 72 right now, hoping to hit 80 in the next week er so. Should I look @ doing some specific quests? Or should I start hitting the shard runs now to get to t2 shard gears?

Do the thuuga quest line and your epic weapon. Do the culinary apprentice quest line.

Other than that, run the shard instances, and run them without anyone mentoring as soon as possible so you can start collecting the gear from there. Re2 is also a good instance to run until you get your cloak at least, but ghadash's bangle, and the other 2 pieces of that set are pretty good too.

I like the talisman from the thuuga quest line, but I've heard the band is better for an assassin. True? Lies? Opinions? BTW I realize its probably something that'll be replaced soon enough but I like to obsess about things like this.

I got the talisman originally. But i had the choker, and soon got ganaks torque. So i petitioned and they let me switch to the ring. Now I wish i had the talisman back for the few fights where i cant use the choker
