So I am new o playing an assassin on a pvp server and I hear people telling me their Melee crit is close to or over 100% and I dont know how this is happening. I am sure there is gear out there that help with this but is that the only thing that factors in deciding your melee crit % ?!?

Without knowing the first thing about PvP armour, the PvE raid gear will get you to 80-90% Crit easy (non-Avatar), procing for over a 100% (and more)... And that's without the bard buffs...

i have 105 mc solo, in raid + proc 130+

Left side TSO fabled set armor with Void Shard armor filling the blanks, and right side jewelry from any t8 raid content (RoK or tSO) will get you above 90% without much effort.

Depending on the gear I switch around I can have anywhere from 89% to 103% crit unbuffed. I'm not that especially well geared either. No avatar pieces, nothing really that amazing.

I use a macro /command that gives me 210% MC.

It resets every time I log off, though.

items like annihilators loop give 25% melee crit for 6seconds with a good proc rate, plus the assassin mythical gives 15% melee crit on proc i believe.
