The last I knew you could redeem 1 lost item per account. I tried to get some old legging back and was told that by a GM.

If you have redeemed an item before then the GM can decline the petition.

Seriously, all those swaying tree branches moving in random directions, multiplied by however many trees are in my view and draw distance.

hmm guess it just depends on the attitude of the GM. i've had three items returned to me that i sold and wanted back for appearance purposes.

guess if you are a jacktard to the gm's, they are less apt to want to help. stow the ego and treat them as you want to be treated, you'll get more accomplished in your favor. Items, renaming, bugged chests... never had an issue with getting any of those taken care of with the SOE staff.

treat people as if you are a self-deserving egotistical prick then you'll get less accomplished. not saying anyone on this thread is that way... but considering the overall self-absorbed attitude many members of this forum seems to have... it wouldn't think it to be unlikely that's why they can't get even half of what they request in petitions. but that's just my observation. i could be wrong... doubt it, but could be...

I offerered some items to my alter and when I asked if I could get them redeemed the reply was that I could my once per lifetime offer to get an item back.

It probably varies from GM to GM though.

or possibly EQ1... there were claw weapons in eq1 as well. they sucked for dmg and stats but are pretty much close to the look he's wanting.
