same question for me.. 36% crit, 20% Da, Weapons are Greenmist and this fabled out of Guk 3 Endmob..

I just want to know roughtly where I should be so I can work on it or stop playing because I simply didn't understood the class..

In my opinion, the only question you should ask yourself is: "Do I enjoy playing the class?"
If you do, keep on playing and over-time your dps will improve even with the same gear, simply because of class knowledge and general efficiency. Practice makes perfect
If you don't, try something else

This counts for heroic instances. If you raid then yes, you should always try to improve: more dps, better cast order etc.
But if you don't enjoy a class, you shouldn't raid with it anyway. Just my 2cp

I wouldn't worry so much about where you should be if your gear is crap. Use poisons, use concealment chain on named fights, and get that epic/mythical ASAP, as well as T2 armor at the very least. Get an AA mirror, especially before the next LU because we'll get a free respec I'm sure.

With the changes coming up we may all need to reevaluate how to maximize our DPS.

defenitly yes, I enjoy this class very much and I don't have any issues with soloing but since I hit 80 and finally all this groupstuff started I feel kinda lost sometimes with moving in positions, being behind etc. so I just wanted to figure out if I somehow can manage it or if I do something completely wrong. Thx anyway, I really like to play this class, I just want to have fun while playing it right instead of only having fun

if you want to play it right, get more melee crit, get your fabled, pay attention to how the tank pulls and try to predict mob placement so you can start your attack faster, always throw your mark in first followed by Ho sequence of debuffs followed by mask attack + pp followed by dots then into conceal chain. with assassin casting speed this entire sequence should only take a few seconds.

don't really like to give casting orders since i feel it's always better to taper the order to the encounter and group make up but always start with mark it's #1 dmg for the most part it's compared to hostage line for coercer.

Starting with mark is great, but it still doesnt trigger Auto-attack, Hitting it with Veluim Strike First, then letting your auto-attack hit followed by mark Ive found works the best for me..your Auto-attack will follow Veluim Strike Very quickly....

So I would say try both combinations... you have to find what ever works best for you!
