Hello Guys,

I just returned to EQ2 after several Years break, and i have no sense of the current state of the game.

I'm about to pick assassin as my main, but i'm not sure if swash/brig actually would fit my needs better.

1. Soloability, I'm going to solo/duo 1-80, i know it's doable as assassin, but would either swash/brig make a better choice?

2. I enjoy the ocasional PUG, are Assassins still wanted in groups? (again compared to swash/brig)

Thanks for the advice guys.

I guess assassin isn't ideal for a solo/duo career.

I'm giving swash a go.

TBH,, I've completely lost touch with my class at lower levels (created at launch).

If it's your first toon though, brig or swash are prolly better to solo, especially considering they nerfed strafing around mobs.
If you get some gear ready though, it's all easy, heroic mobs soloable etc etc...

EDIT: Just saw the guy picked swashy... whatever then. ><
