AoE "immunity" (I use ""s because neither Impenetrable nor Getaway are true AoE avoids since both of them come with a price) specs are a waste of points. All you need to survive AoEs is decent critical mitigation and a shaman that gives a fuck about warding you~.

Agreed, I'd much rather be jousting and popping ranged attacks than staying in, but chilling in invis doing nothing.

In dps groups I'm usually with an inquisitor who has that AE avoid for me. I love it. You get those timers called, and when they start to stack up, blam, get hit with AE immune, and get in for a consistent 1+ minute burn. Love it!

Otherwise, I do have a mirror spec for some extra hps for other fights where the AE has a possibility of killing me out right (without the hp spec) and I think that's working out pretty well.

If you must absolutely raid without a shaman in your group then joust. Impenetrable lasts during what? 15 seconds? That alone makes it unreliable given how AoE timers sometimes get delayed and besides staying in just for auto attack damage is dumb, you'd be doing more dps jousting and ranging. Getaway is even dumber since you stay there with your thumb up your ass waiting for the AoE to happen~.
