Stealth Breaking
Thought I would start this post off to try and get some idea's on what buff / heal could be breaking stealth. I know of the Mystical Orb of the Healer but I am thinking there is another one.
I have tested Apply Poison, All the Templar, Defiler and Warden heals and none seem to breaking stealth. Anyone else have an idea of what it could be?

Re: Stealth Breaking
I would like to know too. Could never put my finger on it and its getting more and more annoying.
When you say youve tested the templar, defiler and warden heals does that include the once that proc too? I am pretty sure its stuff procing like the templar one that procs for a group heal and the orb as you said, possibly mark too if someone sets it off while you are in stealth. . . not sure since i havent tested them, just throwing some ideas out.

Re: Stealth Breaking
Mark will break your stealth if it procs while you're in stealth, that is certain. Also, it's easy to test: mark a mob, drop into stealth and watch it kick you out as soon as it procs.

Yeah knew about this one as well, and yes I went into stealth and had each of the healers cast every heal they had on me procing all their effects as well. With the Templar proc heal the only thing I could try was procing it and then going into stealth and it didn't break my stealth. I will have to test what happens when the initial proc happens while you are in stealth though.

Re: Stealth Breaking
For me Ive noticed most of my stealth breaks come from getting blocked or parried, and mark or getting hit by an AE. If masked attack gets blocked nothing happens, but it still shows you going into stealth. If a stealth CA gets blocked while doing a concealment chain you will lose stealth and it wont take you back in because it wasnt a successful hit.
There are definately stealth breaks I have not been able to explain away with the above, but I find the vast majority come from those. Given that our hit% usually hovers around 93 or 94% and the fact that mobs in EoF seem to have higher avoidance, I think this can explain most of them.

Re: Stealth Breaking
Try a different stealther like Masked Attack with apply poison.
The templar one (I think) will break your normal stealth.

Re: Stealth Breaking
The templar debuff, Mark of the Celestial, might be a possible culprit. To be honest, I'm never paying that close attention to it to see if it's the actual one, but it's out there, so I'm throwing it. BLAH.

Re: Stealth Breaking
well, I know this is anecdotal, but I get WAY more stealth problems when I have apply poison on somebody who melees a lot. Like 4-5x more. I'm not sure what is happening but I've tried it several times and it's noticably worse.

While I am not saying you are wrong I am skeptical due to general human tendancys to see things that aren't there when they want them to be there. Apply Poison might seem to be breaking stealth due to us wanting it to break stealth so we can fix it, but testing has shown that it doesn't seem to break stealth.
