Yeah can be quite spammy at times actually, alot of the older Assassins have quit it seems (Jakron, Tigruz, Miksar, Killua, Anarke, Elvanshalee, Bladedancer, Skratch to name a couple)
So it's full with some Assassins and Rangers that have betrayed to Assassins. Also some other classes that think they know more than actual Assassins (True in most cases, sadly.)
However it's actually a nice channel most of the time since (Dark Elf) Assassins are in a nice standing in RoK so people have lot's to talk about.

By the time I left EQ2 guk.assassin had come a long way from its humble beginnings. At that point we had a regular contingent of lurkers who didn't even have an assassin alt but wanted to keep up to date on the latest item drops. And of course we had a healthy discussion on gear, DPS, and group-composition optimization in addition to our own unofficial Highest Melee Hit competition.

I can almost remember the day I invited Zaraxal and Miksar to join me in the channel and discuss assassin issues. I haven't been back to the SOE forums in a while but I suspect my thread inviting others to join me on the channel is long gone.

bu yes, the channel is quite crowded atm , and ppl looting new top assy gear in raids is linking it , as well providing help to questions.

Wow... Ekard. There's an old name. I remember being in beta with you, and you were the best number cruncher I've seen. I still joke about Tigruz, too. that guy was a walking calamity... fun to talk to, though. He really did help me when I hit 50 (tossed me a few hand me downs, i still have those SoTL bracers). Lots of the old names are gone, but, we're keeping these kids in line, no lie.
