Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
Well my gear isn't the best so I still use the RE2 ring/earring but no regrets there. I can be in any group and never run out of power using it. So to me power isn't really an issue.
It's rare for me to raid nowadays aside from helping people get their mythicals. I do a lot of PURs as a result so yeah illys add way more to my dps than coercers do. The few times I have been put in a mage group have been my best parses by far, and that was months ago when my gear was even crappier than it is now. I had 160ish AA, RE2 jewelry, T2 armor or less, and carotidcutter in my offhand and was doing the same DPS as the raid geared warlock who had 200 AA.
So yeah since then I've loved Illys (and troubs for that matter).

Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
I run caustic all the time, that way i dont have to remember to switch between hemo and caustic. I also didnt spend the points in hemo. I have used bleeding, then specd away, gone back a hundred times I think, and never noticed a difference.
I am super paranoid about agro and run deagro poisons all the time. /shrug some say get a better tank or whatever, but its a pretty minor thing that seems to help, or atleast gives the illusion of helping, which I'm fine with. hehe.
I constantly hit the dummy up every time I run by it and popping frontload before as a prebuff as opposed to not having it usually gets me around 500 dps or so. Not a lot, but to be honest I'm always searching for something to click in raids anyway, so one more buff helps my boredom.

Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
First off Frontload is by far one of the most OP short buffs I've ever seen. Doubling almost your entire arsenal of procs, AND adding damage ( albeit small ) to ur 2 non damage poisons, for 24 seconds too.
If you honestly pick up excessive bleeding over frontload please, for the love of god go fuck yourself in the ass with your own dick until you die of aids.

It also adds (or at least used to some months ago) an additional dmg proc to your red poisons
And btw any max hp/sta debuff which cannot be kept on all the time is plain useless

Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
Excessive bleeding can be kept up 100% of the time for like 3 of our abilities. It'll probably be up about half the time for stealth assault too.

Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
It's been so long since I've tested Excessive Bleeding - has anyone tested with and without it to see if EB plus Killing Blow AA (or whatever the Assassin verdict thing is called) makes a noticible difference in the mobs dieing faster?
If it is 5% of max health for each effect, what does that translate to in terms of the mobs CURRENT health.
In theory, I would think the mobs dieing faster should translate to higher dps numbers (provided the same dps output is present) but maybe we'd lose too much to make it translate to a higher parse number?
One of these days I'd like to see how Melee AoE spec does with and w/out EB but I'm hesitant to mess with what is working.

Re: Frontload V.S. Exessive bleeding...(Poisons too)
Yeah maybe I will finally dump Getaway, though it has come up huge in a lot of cases (quick AoE prevent or AoE prevent while I'm running in to get some guerilla tactics on). It's also been great as an instant invis at the end of a fight when Mortal Blade or something comes back up.
