Default New specs since the spell/proc nerf?

I'm trying a new spec, completely abandoning INT. I'm trying STR and AGI maxed and STA 4448 for the AE dmg. I'm going to try this for a bit and then may try WIS, perhaps with STR and INT. Smokebomb sounds like fun, have yet to try it though.

I still have hemotoxin spec'd to full as well as poison mastery. Have repeated stabbings, frontload, and evasion (great for avoiding AEs on a pull and/or when we have an accurate call for AEs, plus the recast to exacting rules). Shadows hasn't changed much.

I had INT on my character traits whenever possible since STR is so easy to cap, trying STA now instead. Love all the HP.

Anyone trying anything different, taking advantage of the free respec, or just staying the course for now?

Gonna keep the other trees except Predator the exact same...

Gonna change from int, to STA and try it out

The extra poison damage from int line will count for ~150-200 DPS MAX, so pretty shit for all those AA points, while stamina offers the AE auto attack.

I can't really see swapping being a giant DPS increase though tbh, except a little bit on more AE orientated fights like gynok. But I do like the extra health that the stamina line gives too.

You won't be able to take smokebomb because that would require dropping casting speed or perfectionist(str endline) which would just be plain dumb. You can put 4 points into the recast of exacting with taking bleeding + frontload + repeated stabbings also, you don't HAVE to take getaway. Getaway sucks anyways.

Casting speed is overrated. You just run out of CAs quicker in long fights and wind up just auto attacking. If I went with smokebomb I'd probably go STR and WIS maxed and just do STA 4448.

Getaway has proven its use time and time again for me, you just gotta know when to use it.

Get some reuse, casting speed is awsome.

Getaway has no use, you end up sitting there with your thumb up your ass when you could just joust and atleast use bow attacks instead of sitting there just chilling stealthed thinking you are a pimp when really you are retarded.

I think everything that needs to be said about getaway has now been said. Thanks Donagoness

I've already got a sta spec. I'll try it on a raid this week or next week. But I'm considering trying the wis line to test obfuscation again. I'm hoping they ninja fixed it while no one was looking so it applies to concealment. But even if they didn't, I might be able to justify the extra dps I'll gain from hitting those stealths and using regular attacks.

yea im gonna try out wis just because sta is so weak for raids other then the extra hp. now that int line only affects poinsen it's basicly a matter of finding what lesser of all evils. STR and AGI are a must.

Yup, figure out which one sucks less. For me, it might come down to which line has the best extra attack. Poison combo or the deaggro from wis. Hell, maybe I'll get both.

hmm assuming Obfuscation still does not apply for Concealment... that might be the way to go.. having 2 CAs that can crit (WIS 4-4 & INT 4-8?) might give a bit more than (INT4-4-4-8) poison damage bonus or the Obfuscation bonus since the big hits are usually tied to a chain.

interesting. will be fun to test.
