Default Critical hits not working as intended

In my current setup I have greater than 100% critical hits. When I parsed the raid tonight all my combat arts critted 100%, but my autoattack was criting only 65-72%. This seems to be holding true for the other scouts on the raid as well. anyone else seeing similar results?

you need at least 115% crit to crit close to 100% against higher con mobs.

Yes, this I know already, I cranked my self buffed critical hit to 110%, 118 with the dirge, and all my combat arts are in fact criticalling every single time it is ONLY the autoattack that is in the 65 - 72 percent range.

try it on a traning dummy maybe it's a mob debuff? and your lucky on ca's? either way give the traning a dummy a few goes and if it's still comming up shor i would bug it.. my assy don't have a guild hall right now or i would test it too.

It's not a mob debuff as it's the same problem on three zonewides in inner stronghold, tombs, and trakanon. Doubtful as to luck both because of the duration but also because its the same thing for the other assassin as well as the brigand - 100 percent on melee combat art crits, but much much lower on autoattacks.

This seems to be a parse bug or something. All scouts in my raid run 100% auto atk crits, except for mobs with crits debuffs. At least they did pre-lu52.

It is due to a mob debuff. You cast CAs when you don't have detrimentals on you (if you aren't stupid) whereas auto attack is a constant that is being applied all the time~.

In Tombs you have Thet-em-aua (the snake) with the curse, Xebnok with the elemental and Gynok with the arcane all fucking up your crits~.

In Inner Stronghold you have The Strange Stalker with the noxious, Kultak with the elemental and I actually don't remember if Tyrannus has anything that affects crits~.

In any case, the drop in melee crits during those encounters is what drops down your melee crit % on the zonewide. It's not difficult to see, just parse the zone, look at your melee crit % on the nameds I mentioned and compare it against the other encounters of the zone. For example, the first two encounters in Tombs should easily net you 100% melee crit ratio~.

I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that I clicked through the trash as well as the nameds before posting here, but I'm mistaken because after reading this I went back to double check, and you're correct. No idea why I thought I looked at the trash when I clearly hadn't, but in any case, thanks for bearing with me.
