Re: Critical hits not working as intended
It is due to a mob debuff. You cast CAs when you don't have detrimentals on you (if you aren't stupid) whereas auto attack is a constant that is being applied all the time~.
In Tombs you have Thet-em-aua (the snake) with the curse, Xebnok with the elemental and Gynok with the arcane all fucking up your crits~.
In Inner Stronghold you have The Strange Stalker with the noxious, Kultak with the elemental and I actually don't remember if Tyrannus has anything that affects crits~.
In any case, the drop in melee crits during those encounters is what drops down your melee crit % on the zonewide. It's not difficult to see, just parse the zone, look at your melee crit % on the nameds I mentioned and compare it against the other encounters of the zone. For example, the first two encounters in Tombs should easily net you 100% melee crit ratio~.
