I have allways had agro problems on my raid (we have a guard mt to). I usually have a troub + link, but that doesn't matter as I can usually pull agro on command if I want to. I can't even use the signet as that just makes it worse. I envy those of you who can go all out on raids without worrying about peeling.

It's the player not the class. Have had guardians hold agro no problem, even if I unleash my full 2k dps omgz.
It can also be the raid setup.

Yeah....most tanks I know can't hold aggro off of me. Unless I slow down my DPS or start auto-attacking. It's bullshit, there should be no such thing as too much DPS yet there are only a handful of tanks on my server that can steadily hold the enemy off of me while I go crazy. And it isn't a problem on my end I can assure you....

I recently changed guilds and have had to adjust from SK MT to Gaurd MT. Our gaurd is good but I've found I had to change my cast order on inc. SKs and Pallys appear to have that insta grab then let their dps keep them there. Guards seem to need a few seconds. I use to drop my chain on inc pretty much, now I debuff/dot, maybe 5 ca max then use my chain. Small change of a few seconds but it has helped considerably. Unfortunatley now I miss a chain on the 5-6th trash mob where I never did before, but what can you do?

the problem with guard is the maintained agro, they have as many snaps as other tanks but they usually have to save them since they can't build as much hate as the offensive tanks.
that being said i play a guard and tell dps to go max out and if they pull agro and die ill give them 3 plat for repairs.
tbh i blame raid set up/buff distribution for most of the agro problems raids have.

Generally I just use Ig. Bliss and work my deaggros...I may have to try the Food for nights it's looking shaky.
I've had problems in OT group with Dirge/Illy - namely early on in the fight when my Flurry or DAs proc during opening Autoattacks.
With link (from Coercer in another group) in the same OT group, I don't have any problems at all.
When I'm in mage group with a Troub, I don't seem to have any problems there either, and my dps numbers tend to be relatively static (15-20%ish of RW give or take).

Before i took a hiatas Dona i always got bitched at for ripping aggro from MT, but when pally/sk was tanking i never had a problem sustaining a decent lvl of hate. But with guardians, even from a swash point of view (without signet) id spike and get aggro nonstop, especially on YIS encounters. Im not sure what it is tbh, its not you tho, thats for sure. You are a great assassin so whats going to win, A perfect offense or a perfect defense? you find that answer and you found the solution to your problem
