Soloing on an Assassin...
Firstly a quick introduction to my play type:
I'm a dirge at heart, I enjoy making other people parse high and being able to put out mediocre dps (sometimes high when I'm with heroic instance group players as I'm raid geared), and so I am used to being able to just do most of my dps by casting and attacking (50% of our DPS comes from autoattack).
My first toon was a ranger (boo), but got to lv 48 and betrayed, deleted @ 62, and recently revived him through /petition... And I have been playing him a bit and even though I'm in MC gear with decent spells, I'm finding it tough to solo.
Are there any tricks to soloing? One that I have picked up is putting up Concealment and then Cheap shot so that I daze the target, go invis at start of daze, quick nip around back and assassinate/deathly blade etc until the stun wares off.
The main problem I'm finding is my dps comes from back attacks so soloing isn't all that good for me, and I would really like to continue with my assassin as I have seen instance geared assassins putting out really nice numbers... and raid assassins getting up to 20k (may be more in more HC guilds, I'm a casual raider as are the assassins I know).
Any tips/hints? A specific solo spec? I have ~40AA but that's increasing at about 6 points per level atm, and I can always cap my xp/mentor etc to get what I need AA wise np.
Thanks guys
