I seem to do great duoing with a Monk or Bruiser. I know they count as tanks/fighters, but honestly you need someone to hold it off of you and casters and healers aren't going to do that..

I've duo'd very well with mystics and furys. They cant hold aggro off me, but they both heal well and do dps themselves while also buffing the assassin. It works pretty well for my friends and I.

A healer can heal you trough many group instance BTW, but not every mobs are stunable (Thats why I don't duo with brigs/monk etc with my assassin).

An assassin can get near 80% avoid solo too ! lol

this is true but you still take heavy dmg. assassin is a grouping/raid dps class if you plan on solo or duo, i wouldn't recomend the class. this coming from some one that has farmed on assassin,bruiser,necro,wiz.

Brigands have a 7.2 second forced position root. 90% of heroic mobs will not live long enough to see 8 secs tbh. So heals are a non issue.

Sin + Brig is burst dps heaven. Jus sayin!
